The steel book is beautiful but I Wish they would have remastered the disk

Ok.. so I watched the recent IT and that movie was fantastic....the actor that plays the clown is creepy scary....so when I got the original made for TV movie back in 1990...well let's just say....it does not even come close to the latest intense version...I would get the 4k of the latest and skip the old version...

Loved the TV mini-series when it first aired wanted to add it to my collection.

Pennywise is not how I remember him as a kid. This movie was not as good as I remember

Pretty good Stephen King movie. Nothing like an old horror movie.

If I was rating the movie, 5 stars, of course! But as a Blu Ray, I was extremely disappointed. It suffered the same fate as a few other Blu Rays I bought hoping for pristine quality. It literally looks like DVD quality (maybe even VHS quality... sorry). I don't know what happens in the conversion process when folks make Blu Rays of old movies/tv shows but there is simply no quality improvement here. This Blu Ray also comes with a commentary (same as the DVD). I am not mad that I bought it. I would still rather have it on Blu Ray.

if you already have the dvd dont waste your money buying on bluray

The sole reason i purchased this movie was so my daughter could watch. She read the book and loved it. The movie is as corny as i remember it from the days it released on tv. Made for tv King movies pretty much suck. Been a long time since a King novel has been done right in the movies.
