While it's not the perfect movie, it really is a fun ride with great characters, catchy music, and some good lessons. Rebecca Sugar cannot stop writing great songs. Other Friends might be her best to date, but Drift Away, Independent Together, and Disobedient are all so fantastic as well. Spinel stole the whole movie for me. Her voice actor was just phenomenal. Perfect casting and an incredible performance by Sarah Stiles. Just absolutely brilliant work. If you're a Steven Universe fan, you'll love the movie. If you're not, go watch it on Hulu! It's worth the trip.

Steven Universe The Movie takes place two years after the end of the series and before the upcoming epilogue series Steven Universe Future ! Great musical numbers tell the story . DVD also features a documentary on the making of the movie. If you are a fan of the series , it's a must have! :)

Ok this movie is simply amazing, I have seen it more than 10 times and i still feel geared up to watch it ANY time I can, the characters are great the songs are AMAZING and the plot (which is a little iffy at times with the specifics of the plot ) is still great regardless. And the new villain of the movie spinel is simply outstanding, And the voice actor Sarah Grace Stiles did a truly otherworldly performance with her voice talents. And the story to go along with her toucher your heart so mech. I must stop myself from talking about spinel the whole time because if I let myself this would probably just be a 10 page essay about how she is the best animated character EVER lol, oh and also spoilers I should probably avoid those too. Overall a great movie that will not disappoint. (Unless you hate musicals then in that case avoid it but the songs are REALLY amazing so I still say give it a shot. ;)

Bought this for my daughter this show was her favorite but she’s moved on from this kids grow up fast ! She loved it. I’m not into these shows but I’m giving high ratings standing in for my daughter

A must-have for any Steve Univers fan. The story is good and the music is fantastic. It is a musical. If you watch Steve Univers this will not surprise you. Has great extras behind the scenes. May great extras.
