I read the book and was very disappointed in the movie. This was a chance to shed some light on the horrible disease of Alzheimer's, and it just skirted over the issue way too much. Miss Moore gave a good performance though.

From the very first minute of the movie I new it was going to be a disappointing movie.

A person starts forgetting things, places, people, topics, and the fright sets in. Alice gets the diagnosis that she's in Early-Onset Alzheimer's disease and the decline goes on. For millions of people, Alzheimer's is a very real threat, and the struggle to keep your memory and stay connected especially to the ones you love is so heart-breaking. I've gone through it with my mother-in-law and now I'm going through it with my mother. Julianne Moore puts in a top-notch performance of what it's like to go through this. I highly recommend this to anyone who has loved ones going through it now or maybe you have a suspicion a loved one might be going through it. Incredible acting to all the cast! Well-researched script! Have tissues ready!
