I got this because I love my new apple pencil, and I'd like to take it around without needing a separate thing for it. This case looks sharp, feels rugged, yet not too bulky. The pencil holder is perfect. Secure so it won't fall out, but not so tight you can't extract it. But I almost returned it after I got it... almost. I found the way it stands up for viewing or for typing is the stupidest method I've seen! You flap it backwards and rest the edge against these tiny hook doodads and connect the magnetic closure/flap to the top. It felt super unreliable and unsecure. I kept missing the hooks and making it fall flat to the table in typing mode. I was expecting the typical rolled up triangle you see in a lot of these cases. I decided I'd give it a few days first. A fair chance. Now like it, no regrets. I don't know what they were thinking when they designed the stand, but once you use it for just a day or two, you're perfectly adjusted, even when drawing (the whole reason I got the pencil). You don't even feel like you're doing anything special or giving anything up. It just works well. Oh, and the power button is just a little hard to press, but you get over it. I love this case.

Would have given 5 stars, but only drawback is the button to press the iPad on and off is very hard to push. I have to use the end of something metal to get it to turn it on. Otherwise, the case is solid and fits the iPad like a glove!!!
