Not the best case but I am not surprised I was expecting something different.

I didn't get it was only a case for the folio, the picture was really misleading. I was disappointed, but the case is really good.

I purchased this from my Apple Store as it was not available anywhere else. This "half case" is pretty great. One of the flaws, I feel, with the Magic Keyboard (and pretty much any other official Apple case) is it leaves the corners exposed to drops, and has no place at all the help secure the Apple Pencil..this fills in those missing features!
It snaps in pretty easily over the magnetic side of the Magic Keyboard , or the Folio keyboard, whichever you might have) and after that, you just need to pop in your iPad and you are good to go. The corners are made of a thick rubber that , according to the package, passed US Military spec 810G drop tests, which I read is around 4 feet. Also at the top, there is a channel that assists in securing the Apple Pencil (as shown in the photo), along with the magnetic connection.
If you are accident prone or just want more protection for your iPad while attached to the Magic or Folio Keyboards, look no further and pick this up where ever you can
Price is a bit high considering it is only a half "shell", but for what it does, I was willing to spend the extra money for the piece of mind that if I drop it while having the Magic Keyboard attached, I will be ok (in most cases)
