This a a great nostalgia buy if you played the original, it really is a walk down memory lane. At the same time it still holds up for first time players that are fans of the same style of farm-sim rpg.

A fun remake of a gamecube classic. While some changes aren't great, its still true to the original story and atmosphere

it's a nice chill game, but can be a bit overwhelming if you're new to Story of Seasons games (like me), it's also a bit slower paced, so if you like that then this you will love!

Love the game! Simple farming, as “advertised”. Back to the basics, with farm, your barn of animals, and a small town with folk. Nothing too overwhelming, and still a great game to enjoy for farming and life sim.

Weither You're some one who grew up with the original game, or just coming in I think there is a lot to love about this game. There is an emphasis of building relationships with the towns folk and raising your child. In doing so the game may not have as much to do as contemporary games, it does make up for it in great cut seacnes, simple fun fun farming and a whole lot of charm.

This is a remake of the orginal Harvest Moon A Wonderful Life. It's a solid remake. And very nostalgia for classic Harvest Moon Fans. If you're wondering why the name change to Story of Seasons. That happened because the series developers changed localizations companies. And the old one kept rights to the Harvest Moon name.

If you liked the original youll love this remake as well brings back so much nostalgia! Cant put it down :) only reason i gave it a 4 was because i personally wish that had added a bit more to the game.

I think this is a great remake of the classic game I loved as a kid. There are plenty of quality of life enhancements, auto-selecting the next patch of soil to water/plant, seeds now tell you which seasons they should be planted in, etc. There are some minor annoyances with movement… like that the dig site, you will get blocked from digging in a patch at least once per visit… that sucks. But I am having much more fun than I did as a child and I think this game is worth the money!

For context, I have never played the original, but I am not new to the series. This games is actually pretty fun to play, even with my weird work schedule. I always appreciate character customization, which this game has. Nothing super fancy, but good enough for me. The seasons lare a lot shorter than many other farming sims, so keep that in mind (10 days per season, 4 seasons). This may be a positive or negative for you, but I actually dont mind this at all. The characters you can meet are nice, some with more personality than others. This next part is a little bit important for those who have never played this game. You have to pick a partner before the end of your 1st year, or that's it. The game won't continue. There are 8 to choose from, so just pick one and rolll with it. Anyway, I do like the animals (so cute) and there are a good variety of crops to grow. There are minigames and digging for fossils, too. You also start out with a cute sog, so there's that. Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life is a nice little game to play for a couple hours at a time (or binge it, if that's your style). There are apparently some changes from the original Harvest Moon version, so make sure you do some research to make sure that you will enjoy the game before purchase. As a fan of the Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons series, I really do think that it's a solid game!

The same as harvest moon just rebranded. A fun classic title from the gamecube era. Can get repetitive (also my fault for playinh 1 year through the game within a week of receiving) but that can happen with any farming game really. Each year adds new content to freshen the game up again.

while the game itself isn’t as it used to be, it’s a decent remake of the gamecube game i played as a kid. this came with extras that are very much worth it to me (tiny stuffed animal and an art flag)

Always been a fan of the (Harvest Moon)/Story of Seasons series. This is fun remake of the original game. Gameplay holds close to the original in terms of what you can do each day etc. It's great to see this remade for today's graphics and generation

Still a good farming game, not enough upgrades to fully justify the remake.

Arrived in perfect condition (unlike some other businesses). I played the original AWL and AnotherWL on GameCube, so this brings me back to my childhood. Love some of the upgrades and look forward to playing many hours on it.

This game reminds me of the first iteration of it so much! I love it. Takes me back to my GameCube days. Honestly the only thing I wish they had done differently was the lighting which I know is such a snooty gripe. I felt that the dark shady vibes fit the game much better and were much more calming. 9/10 for sure!

Runs great! It’s missing a few things from Harvest Moon DS/DS Cute, but also has some new things — still charming and fun :) also love preorder goat!!

This game is as charming as I remember it, and the tweaks that were made only serve to provide better gameplay. SoS is perfect for a quiet afternoon of a beautiful slice-of-life game.

Amazing remake to a classic game. Keeps the magic alive while also giving the world a new coat of paint. A must play for all the old Harvest Moon fans.
