Real good movie for movie night. Will keep everyone on the edge of there seats.

Ok, this isn't the greatest movie ever made, but it is quite good. It's a thriller, which generally means predictability, and Straw Dogs is no exception. The acting wasn't Oscar worthy or anything, but it was still decent acting. However, I did feel like something was missing from this story. It wasn't that the ending left me unsatisfied, but more questioning about what was happening with this town. I just felt that too much effort was put into parts of the story that were never really developed and could have added a great deal.

The movie entertained me and it had some unpredictable moments. It however, drug on and the husband was a weak character and only looked good at the end. The end of the movie was the best part which, the movie seemed to lead up to. More of a suspense then a horror.

This movie is a remake of Straw Dogs from 1971 with Dustin Hoffman. It is pretty entertaining but not as good as the original but I would recommend it. The loved the cast so it is definitely worth watching.

james is one of the best actors of our generation. this is a good vehicle for him. it also helps that kate bosworth is in it. btw, this is a remake of the 1971 dustin hoffman movie with the same title.

This is a very good drama and the acting is solid. This movie is a remake and is as good as the original. The story is about an outsider trying to fit into a closed community.

This is a well acted and well made remake from the '70s. Dark, brutal and intense. The Blu-Ray is fantastic with great picture and powerful sound. A underrated film.

I saw this movie a long time ago. When I rented it from redbox. Thought it was a great movie. So I had to own it.
