One of the best streetfighter games I have ever played

I love street fighter and I usually buy everyone. But I never play it long. It should be way better by now. They got micro transactions and the campaign is kinda not my thing. I like it a little but I expected more from this series. It should be right on the mortal Kombat level. But I won’t give up on it yet. I’m glad it came with the steel book. That’s one good thing Best Buy does. They at least give you something with some game purchases. I’ll always come back for that reason. Capcom been on a hot streak to with resident evil village and 4 remake.

Fighting mechanics in this are great. But the roster is too small, they are going to nickel and dime for more ‘seasons’ and costumes. Would have preferred a 24 or 32 character roster day1 and the not fully developed rpg as pay dlc instead. Especially after Street Fighter 5. I wont get the rest of the roster till they are all released at a discount. Makes me appreciate super smash bros on my switch so much more.

It’s a great game worth every penny! The story mode basically sets you up to learn all the mechanics of the game so that by the time you get online you will be ready to face other players. Great gameplay and graphics and most importantly a fun game and the best on the market!

Verdict: A triumphant return for the series — polished, accessible, and packed with content for both newcomers and longtime fighting-game fans. Critically acclaimed
What Works: The core fighting mechanics are superb — the new Drive Gauge system adds strategic depth while remaining intuitive.
Multiple control schemes and tutorial tools make the game friendly for beginners while still satisfying for veterans.
Bottom Line: Whether you’re looking for a high-level competitive fighter or a welcoming gateway into the genre, Street Fighter 6 delivers. Its mix of deep mechanics and approachability makes it one of the best entries in the franchise to date.

Street Fighter 6 marks a triumphant return to everything fans love about the franchise. Its gameplay is refined to be more accessible without sacrificing the depth and complexity longtime players crave. The visuals are stunning—combining sharp realism with stylish artistic flair—while the story mode is genuinely enjoyable and the sound design is top-tier. If you’re a fan of Street Fighter or fighting games in general, this one is an absolute must-buy.

Fantastic! silly fun single player world, worth of playing to learn every character and pimp up your own avatar, same avatar can be used for the online hub which is an arcade style place. you don't need to spend a cent since the world tour contains nice looking clothes and accessories that are easy to earn and its campaign will entertain you for many hours. as usual in any online multiplayer game avoid the spammers and players looking to pick a easy fight on new players, you can see players stats very clear, also you can set parameters like crossplay off. the graphics quality on world tour is not as good as the main game but it's a trade off with so many stuff going on you can fight almost anything. the traditional game mode contains more than enough variety of character and stages, I keep getting up late just fighting anything, modern controls are good for new players and old school ones that just want to have a relaxing match

I had high expectations for this one, and it did not disappoint. Everything you love about Street Fighter, a great starting lineup of characters (new and old), and the new core mechanic (Drive) is easy to learn while having lots of depth in its uses.
Spectacular fighting game and a SF solidification!

This is the best SF game since SF II! It is a complete package with so many modes and things to do. The battle hub is an exciting space modeled like a real arcade even with rotating classic Capcom games. The commentary for the game is so crazy, when using it, I feel nervous and excited as if I was in a real tournament. The new characters are interesting and very cool. They really put a lot of love and effort into this game.

Street Fighter 6 is the best intro to fighting games the genre has seen to date. The characters have such excellent variety and give every kind of player myriad of options both in terms of character selection, but also the number of options each character has. The story mode acts as the perfect intro to fighting games and is a must play for all players, new and old. The online works as crisp as you would expect and the local play options are wonderful as well. Street Fighter 6 sets a high bar for the remaining year of fantastic fighting game releases.

As someone that hasn't played a fighting game since Soul Calibur 4 and Injustice 1, Street Fighter 6 is a breath of fresh air for me! I usually play games like Monster Hunter or other single-player RPG's.
I really enjoy the characters and the overall aesthetic. I only really play World Tour and the Story Arcade mode, but I feel like I'm getting my money's worth.
I definitely recommend it to people that are looking for a fun party game and is welcoming to newcomers and veterans of the Fighting Game Community.

This is coming from somebody who's played Street Fighter V for a thousand hours on PS4 and PS5, Street Fighter 6 is a complete package for anybody who's looking to get into fighting games down to veterans to have been playing for years if not decades. For the first time ever in Street Fighter history there is a mode where you can create your character and then use other Street Fighter main characters as a basis for your move set and special moves you can go to all types of different locations and complete a narrative that takes about 8 to 10 hours depending on your skill level. Do you have to battle hub where you can take that created character and then go up against other created characters or head to an arcade cabinet to battle using the main Street Fighter 6 roster and every 20th and 30th of the month there's double points that you can get as select arcade cabinets that will boost your character proficiency. Casual and ranked match remain unchanged from Street Fighter V except for how the ranks are structured. The only thing that I would consider a con or minus of the game is how the battle pass tears are structured and how character costumes and colors are managed in structured. As it stands right now character costumes and colors are way too expensive and cannot be bought organically or in game you have to spend real money in order to get these colors and certain character costumes and I feel like as a game that has so much to offer this is a huge mess and hopefully it'll get corrected in the future I personally don't mind grinding it out to earn what I want in a video game I did in the Street Fighter 5 I would do it again in Street Fighter 6 but the lack of an option to do so remains disappointing.

widely considered a "masterpiece" and a "new gold standard" for the fighting game genre. Reviewers praise its massive content package, including the RPG-like World Tour mode and the highly social Battle Hub, which corrected the lack of features seen in its

Coming from SF4 having skipped 5 I was worried about mechanics, however I was surprised at how easy they were to pick up after a few solid matches with my friend. There’s tons to do if competing isn’t your thing such as spectating, arcade or doing World Tour. The addition of classic controls for avid fighting games fans and modern controls for fighting game beginners allows for everyone to dip their toes in.
