I haven't enjoyed a Street Fighter game in almost twenty years. I have fond memories of playing Street Fighter 2 at the shopping mall when I was in elementary school and again playing Street Fighter Alpha when I was a teen. When I reconnected with gaming as an adult, I tried Street Fighter 5 and was very disappointed. I honestly was planning to ignore the release of SF6, but then I caught wind of the reviews and they made it sound too good to be true. I pre-ordered it right away and I am so glad I did. The fighting mechanics are perfect and the controls are as good as can be. The graphics are out of this world and the new elements added to the fighting enhance the gameplay better than I thought they would. I highly recommend for fans of fighting games or just games in general.

Game is perfect for long time players and beginners alike. With choices of classic or modern controls this game is most accessible Street Fighter since the second game. New or old to this genre will love.

Streetfighter 6 is out and they are changing things up a bit. At the start they want to make sure you know how to play, even if you've been playing for years Capcom wants to make sure you know how to play. With tutorials littered in both the create a character and arcade modes. Taking a page from Soul Calibur you can now create your own character, in shocking detail and going through the custom character story mode you can learn the fighting styles of different arcade/dlc characters.

The game immediately launches with some woke LGBTQ+ content in your face, so hope you're a fan. If you can get past that, you'll be in for a lot of fun and pleasant surprises. The World Tour mode is full of throw backs and easter eggs from some older Capcom games. The attire of the baddies out on the street is questionable though. Some countries you visit are severely limited in terms of the space you can walk around in. The overall "street" vibe, from the announcer, the graffiti and obvious parts of NYC was a positive. There is some voice acting, but a lot of the game reuses small words, sighs, grunts, etc. I would definitely say the game has mostly been a step in the right direction to reinvigorate the series and hope to see the World Tour mode, Voice Acting and Story continue to improve in future releases. Lastly, make sure you have an HDMI 2.1 display with VRR to connect to, if you hate screen tearing (THERE'S A LOT!).

Street Fighter 6 offers an exhilarating gaming experience with its dynamic graphics, diverse character roster, and engaging gameplay. The stunning visuals bring the iconic characters to life, while the varied moves and combos provide endless excitement. Whether you're a seasoned player or a newcomer, the game's accessibility and depth cater to all skill levels. Street Fighter 6 successfully revitalizes the classic series, delivering a highly enjoyable and immersive fighting game that captures the essence of its legendary predecessors.

Best Street Fighter game since Marvel Vs. Capcom 2. Street Fighter 4 was a good refresh but Street Fighter 6 hits the game mechanics, story, playable modes and online functionality. The World Tour is a little generic but creating your avatar character is so extensive and fun. I wished they had CGI for the story telling but the animated stills is coo. Online has little to no glitches and they chose to keep a lot of the favorite characters on day one. Definitely a must buy… Art direction may be a little sketch but they did it well. Soundtrack is the only thing that I’m meh about, I would’ve liked some remixes of the classic tunes.

This game is fantastic. Looks gorgeous, smooth gameplay, and the controls are spot on! I highly recommend this title to anyone, even if your not the fighting-game type!
