Had to add to my collection this street fighter is closer then most animated movies they did a good job aside kens wig.

I’m a fun of street fighter video games and the way the story of Ryu and Ken was made is awesome, how they met, how they trained, and how they obtained their powers. This movie is much better than the first Street Fighter movie.

The fight between Ryu (Jon Foo) and Ken (Christian Howard) displayed their passion for the material. That same passion is evident in this expansion of their initial idea. Here Ryu (now played by Mike Moh) and Ken (Howard reprising the role) have been studying under their master Gouken (Akira Koieyama) for years and are starting to yearn for more advanced skills. After proving they have felt their ki (inner energy) they move their training to Gouken’s ancestral dojo. What unfolds is the tragic tale of the practitioners of the Ansatsuken (Assassin’s Fist) martial arts style. A cycle that spans not only Ryu and Ken, but their Master Gouken and his brother and rival Gouki (Gaku Space). Gouki’s use of the forbidden arts caused him to become the dreaded Akuma (Joey Ansah), the ultimate fighter. The story is actually very well-written. It flows effortlessly and explains without boring exposition and the many flashbacks aren’t jarring but feel like a natural progression of the story.

Created by true fans of the original games, Street Fighter Assassin's Fist dives deeply into the mythology and lore surrounding the main characters, and the origins of their fighting style. Most of the characters are portrayed by actual, skilled martial artists, ensuring that all of the fight scenes and choreography are the perfect blend of realistic and fantastic. This is not some backwashed Hollywood garbage, but a legitimate homage to one of the most influential games of all time, created by fans, for fans.

All Street Fighter (all game based movies for that matter) have been horrid. This did not have half the budget, but the producer, directers, and actors delivered a movie to satisfy any fan of the series. If you watched the YouTube series pick this up, there is extra scenes that are worth seeing. 5/5 stars.

Okay so this is actually really good. It is a low budget movie but it just proves if you do it right it doesn't matter how little you spend. These group of directors did a great job on everything especially sticking with the original storyline like it was meant be. Can't wait to see what's next.

This movie is a great representation of the Street Fighter series. The casting is well done and unlike all other attempted live action movies this one actually uses the story from the game. It showcases the training of Ken and Ryu and the rise and fall of Goki/Akuma. Very much good!!!!

This movie was originally an online series of episodes. They really nailed it with this one! True Street Fighter Fans everywhere will definitely appreciate this movie. I'd highly recommend buying this movie!

Street fighter is the best fighting franchise in the history on everything. We indeed need more movies like this on since nobody else made them.

A well shot & made movie. These types of movies have a rep of being bad, but it really captures what fans love about Street Fighter. The time & attention given to the movie conveys the passion of the filmmakers.

If you're a fan of the video game series than you owe it to yourself to watch this as it is precisely how cinema based on video games should be produced!

This Blu-ray is great I loved it and will continue to watch it over and over again. Look forward to the next one Akuma looks legit

For being a low budget film, this is by far my favorite Street Fighter movie. Loved the story and character development.

This is a great series for fans of the Street Fighter Series. A lot of features included and great action overall.

I honestly bought this as a gift so I haven't personally watched it. Although my friend was thrilled to get it.

Wow! Ken looks like ken! The fight scenes are what makes this game a gem!

The best adaptation of the classic video game by far.

A must have for every street fighter fan. Love all the bonus content as well.
