This review is not about the film, which I saw in the theatre and enjoyed back in 1984. The problem was with the DVD and with Best Buy. I got a stack of gift cards and movies for Christmas. This one was purchased with a gift card. I did not get around to watching it until after the return period, so that was on me. None of the three discs worked. I went to the Best Buy on Guilford Road in Frederick, Maryland where I purchased the movie on 2-28-2024 to see about exchanging it. Before any discussion of return period came up, both the gentleman at the front door to whom I showed the disc and the lady to whom he directed me made comments about not taking back open media. New flash: there's no way to know if it's defective if I don't open the box and put the disc into the player. I was told the movie was not in stock, but there was nothing they could do and to contact the manufacturer. I asked about exchanging for a different DVD. The young lady went to the gentleman at the door, who apparently is a manager. when she returned she said there was nothing to be done. I've bought enough from Best buy, and I shop at that location fairly frequently. On a $25.00 purchase that is defective, I would have hoped for better. While the gentleman at the front was at least polite, the young lady seemed annoyed that she even had to deal with a return before anything about return policy came up. Very disappointed. OK, so with all the hype I jumped on this when it came out. I bought the blue ray when it came out about 5 or 6 years ago.. All the site reviews said this was immaculate.will blow you away,..Yeah, not really. Compared side by side on my 4k TV, the blue ray looks just as good if not better. Save your cash if you own the blue-ray. Not worth the upgrade in my opinion.

Came damaged but still in cellophane, they are sending damaged items to customers.
