I started the series with this season by happenstance and before the end of the 3rd or 4th episode I think I had already went out and bought the first two seasons. You will not know some characters and be confused/intrigued as to what drove some characters like Rachael Dalton to do what she does but if you let go certain things you will catch up very quickly. Basically all you need to know is there is a British intelligence agency called Section 20 which houses a team headed up by 2 soldiers one Brit and one american who battle evil organizations, terrorists and the occasional gay mercenary. And the American on occasion loves the ladies but both know how to fight and kick butt in a rather spectacular way. I would put this season up against any of 24, La Femme Nikitia (remember that show in the day) type spy show and Strike Back wins. Plus it has the best line any villain has ever said - Holding the button of the weapon of mass destruction - I won't explain myself to you....long pause....you might understand...even longer pause....and then where would you be.

Like season 4 it is a must have for any avid fan of action.

Strike Back is one of the best action series I have ever seen. The action scenes are top notch and the acting and story are great. The series follows Michael Stonebridge and Damien Scott, two mismatch soldiers working for the British Special Forces who work to protect the world from the deadly threats facing it. The bantering between the two leads is one of the show main draws as well as the action sequences that are nothing short of jaw-dropping.

I have seen episodes on HBO and own seasons 1 and 2 and it is really an awesome series. It is full of action, the scene locations are excellent, the actors are excellent and there are never a dull moment. I was and am very impressed with the story lines, the combat scenes and the detail used in armament and life like fire fights and the quality used in making the show. Absolutely well done and I give it 5 stars because I cannot rate it higher.

I've reviewed seasons 1 & 2 already, and like those, this one is great as well. All the superlatives I gave to the first 2 seasons apply to this one as well; great action, great acting, great filming locations (like a travel brochure) and just a great, entertaining way to watch tv. I've seen all the seasons, and am now collecting each blu ray season for my collection, as they are a must-have!

This is an excellent series from England that is shown here on Cinemax. I had never seen any of the seasons but took a chance and purchased all 3 seasons available. Each season concentrates on a single terror threat, with multiple storylines converging to an exceptional climax. Well written long form action. High production values and a sensational casting. Strike Back Season 3 delivers on all fronts.

HBO has been slow in getting these seasons released since we are into the 5th season now and they just released Season 3. Great ongoing story and both leads have become very comfortable and good in their characters. Each episode plays out like mini-action movie with plenty of gunplay, adult humor & situations, and double-crosses. Great series so far. Too bad Season 5 will be the last.

This show is crazy violent, crazy sexy, and just plain crazy with plots and globetrotting. Kind of mindless viewing, but fun in the over the top manner it exudes. The actors have great chemistry, and the locations are exotic. What's not to love? Shame that there is only one more season. Also a shame that the original UK first series is not available in the US. Yet. I hope.

This season of Strike Back is probably me least favorite, but is still great and well worth watching. The characters are great and the stories carry on till the end with a satisfactory conclusion. I purchased the regular dvd, which is great and has very nice quality to it, but I have seen the BD and the color saturation and sharpness are just a bit better.

Strike Back was Cinemax's first original drama series, centered around a fictional British military unit (Section 20), and in it's 3rd season, it continues to deliver exotic locales across the globe, movie-level action sequences, and a little hanky-panky as well. The buddy cop dynamic between the two leads (a Brit played by an American and an American played by an Australian, but who cares) is quite enjoyable as well. The Blu-ray looks and sounds great, is packed with commentaries by the cast and crew, and delivers a heck of a lot of fun for the price.

About three years ago I stumbled upon this show and have been hooked ever since. Season 3 of Strike Back opens with a bang and doesn't let up. If you are a fan of films like Bad Boys or Lethal Weapon you will love this show. The two leads are excellent and the supporting cast is great as well.

Stonebridge and Scott make a great buddy-buddy team, making their sometimes unbelievable antics and miracle escapes easier to digest. Nice filming that really benefits from the Blu-ray format and a few decent extras make this a fun season you will probably watch more than once..

I had been waiting for Season 3 for over a year, and I can finally say it was worth the wait! The action is more intense than ever before, the locations are more diverse and Section 20 is still number one when it comes to cinema quality action on the silver screen.

This series is probably one of my all time favorites on Cinemax. It is an excellent story with lots of action. You can really see the details with the Blu-ray release, and at $15 how can you go wrong! Will go perfect with the first 2 seasons I already own.

This movie is great, full of action, gun fights, romance, and suspense. If you didn't see the first two (Strike Back 1 and Strike Back 2), you must get them, guarantee you will like them all, and will watch them over and over.

I would strongly recommend this show to see. It has a lot of action, blood, guts, killing and double cross all rolled up in one show. Well worth the time to watch. A must see for someone who likes adventure and intrigue.

Love this show and was sad to see it end. This season was the best and can't wait until they release the final season. If you're looking for action, exotic locations, and unbelievable adventure this show has it in spades.
