This show even in its fourth season has not lost any of its explosive action, in fact I think it has only gotten better.

It's a fun adult oriented shoot em up show with not much to offer in intellectual dialog, but non the less it is great. It has humor, violence, and action with lots of gun play and fighting. You can't get enough of the opening credits song. It's the only show I have ever listened to the music before every episode for all four seasons without fast forwarding. The show just works for me. I love that there really is no cliff hanger endings in each season. There is always a nice finality to it and you still can't wait for the next season to start. I will miss this show its one of my favorites. We can always hope they don't realize what they had til it was gone and bring it back some day....

The last season with the original cast if you have seasons 1-3 you will want this 4th one.

I've been a fan since before CINEMAX got involved for the second series (considered the first in the U.S.), buying from Amazon UK. This is one of the best action series on television. Excellent acting and solid scripts. You bond with the main characters. UK television has no reservations about killing off principal characters, so these guys do face the consequences of their high risk occupations, which adds to the realism OK, they do take some poetic license with the realism, but its generally pretty solid. No shark jumping..

Just thought that the actors were bored throughout the season. Its like they were in a rush to complete a contract season and get onto other things. Indeed Sullivan Stapleton immediately went on to star in the hit series Blindspot. I just think that the final season was a contract the producers were filling and jumbled up a quick 10 part story arc. Although recent reports from Sky One and Cinemax is that they are bringing the show back in 2017 with a whole new cast so that might be something to look forward too.

Those who followed series will not be disappointed with the final season (well, perhaps a little). As usual, lots of action taking place throughout the world, good effects and basically solid acting. The plot sort of stretches the credibility factor at times, but hey!, it is entertaining. If you watched the 1st season that hooked me to series, you more or less know what to expect as to longevity of characters. Same with the final season. In this one we get to know (sort of "out-of-the-blue") the son of one member of the "dynamic duo" and we get to continue the sort of "deja vu" in the "love affairs" of the other member. All-in-all, worth it at the discounted price.

So as it turns out this is not the final season Strike Back. Recent reports have surfaced that Cinemax and Sky One are producing a 5th season (or 6th season in the UK) of Strike Back with a whole new cast. As for this season. the show starts out pretty good with some great Thailand locations but the second half doesn't quit live up to the hype.

This series is go good, i'm upset this is the last season (NOTE: I know about Project Dawn). I know the lead actors are both on their own network shows now, but I would hope some day they will reprise these roles, or at the very least the show will return in some format. This is a show that never should have ended, but it was fun while it lasted!

Most people don't know that cinemax picked up the show on the second season. The first season was actually on BBC, they didn't have the two main characters till it was americanized. The first (BBC) season was good, but it got way better on cinemax. Most of the time you had exmilitary guys trying to figure out the guns they used on forums.

I bought the first of this series on DVD years ago and was hooked instantly. It's absolutely unrealistic but still entertaining and will keep you on the edge of your seat with the plotline. Bringing in Michelle Yeoh for this was pretty genius, but I'd have liked to see them use her martial arts talents a bit. Sad this series is done though!

I'll miss the two heroes of "Strike Back," though both guys have already landed other TV gigs. The final season is just as exciting, fun, and sort of semi-serious as the previous years, but each time I've been drawn in to the outlandish action. Strong visuals, great theme song, decent-to-excellent acting across the board.

Great ending to an exciting series. Couple of ways they could have ended the series. The way it was finished lived up to the ideas and actions through out the entire series. Only wish the 1st season, " Chris Ryans Strike Back", was avaliable on disc that do not need a PAL/NTSC player to play it. Maybe in time.

I am a HUGE fan of SULLIVAN STAPLETON!! This sends the series over the top!!! Too bad there are no more seasons...but He is in other tv shows!! lol If I'm ever in trouble Id love to have him have my back! A must see. Car chases. Guns. Explosions... Heroes save the world.

Found this show by chance on Cinemax years ago, then stopped subscribing and never got to see the end. Came across it again on Vudu with a free episode and just had to see what happened, so I purchased all four seasons and have been binging. It is just a fun show with a great cast.

If you're a fan of the shoot-em up action genre of movies, this show is for you. Non-stop action, with a plot that doesn't wrack your brain. Highly recommend.The two lead actors should be in be in a new series some day because are GREAT together. So sad that it is done.

This is the final season of one of the best shows on TV. Scott and Stonebridge are back chasing terrorists around the globe as usual. The action sequences on this show are second to none and the acting is quite good as well. This was a great end to a great show.

I'm not usually into these type of shows, but I truly looked forward to the premiere of each new season. Philip WInchester rocked the role of Michael. Wish there were more seasons to come, but at least they tied up all the story lines for a great series finale.

Not the best season of Strike Back but still worth watching. I am a big fan of this show and I have all four seasons on DVD but like I said this is not the greatest season. The first two were great, but you should watch this one if you like the show.

Strike Back delivers every single time! I own all 4 seasons and just like the 3 previous seasons this one has a an amazing story and the action as always can not be duplicated! Stonebridge & Scotts back and forth is the absolute best!

This is the last season of Strike Back. If you love military men fighting terrorist this is a good series for you. All for seasons are done well and while the good guys win there is usually a price to be paid to accomplish that win.
