Great album from Rick! His body of work is impressive, to say the least, and he is always finding ways to sort of reinvent himself. These are really great versions of his songs, with your typical banter in between that Rick does so well.....he knows how to capture an audience to the point that you don't need to watch the DVD to see that, you can 'feel' it by just listening to the CD. What is so great about this album is that it just isn't your typical 'hits' album, but rather he's taken songs which mean something to him and put a little twist on them. It's a brilliant move on his part as most artists more or less 'play it safe' at times and focus on just their hits and, while there's nothing wrong with that because that's what most of us want to hear, it's refreshing when an artist branches out and gives you something unexpected.

This CD/DVD is not the best of rick but good enough I have been a fan of his for over 30 years .. The "Unplugged" aspect has been done years ago from other bands . .Rick is alittle too late for this .. DVD is good But CD should cut all the talk during each song.. its fine for the DVD now a Limited Edition of this on his own website for $74.99 and you get 2 bonus tracks on that one... WHY does Rick do these things?? Not cool with that. Being a fan is about the music not how much can you spend . keeping it real

When the release of this CD was announced, I thought it was going to be an album of Rick's hits recorded acoustically. I was a bit surprised when I picked this up that it was hits, but recorded live in a storytellers-style setting. Let me say, it is fantastic! The real gem in this is the DVD, though. If you're a fan, get this. It's well worth the price!

What you get here is just what the name implies, stripped down versions of some classic songs. It all looks and sounds good, there are just a couple of songs I personally wanted that were not on here. That, however, is just me and doesn't detract from the record as a whole. Worth the time.

If you are a Rick Springfield fan you will love this CD set. Gives you a real idea how talented he really is!! Rock out and enjoy the back story along with the music and video.

I bought this after attending the Stripped Down concert near my home. I was delighted to relive my concert experience through this CD since it is from a live recording from the tour. Love it! A must have for any Rick Springfield fan.

Nice to have for a collection of Rick Springfield. This cd is far from his best. I thought I was getting his newest cd but this was not it. I was very disappointed.

This is a good CD for Rick Springfield fans. More of an unplugged version of his hits set in a live setting. HIs added narratives between the songs give some insight into the meanings of the songs to him.
