I like lots of different kinds of music and I could never answer the question of who's your favorite artist with just one. I always had a list (Alanis Morissette, Tupac, Incubus, Dixie Chicks, Billy Joel). (I know...weird) Then I discovered Charlotte, pretty much by accident. Since then I can definitively say that Charlotte Martin is my favorite artist hands down! Her music just takes me away. It is very unique, but relatable. It just feels right and you just sigh into calmness. Her use of different sounds is amazing. "Keep Me In Your Pocket" is quite possibly my favorite song. She even shows her classical background in "Just Before Dawn". You've probably never heard of her, but just give this CD and her others a listen. It just may change your whole perspective.
