it's mostly the familiar character study of a family where the parents are divorced and the children disfunctional. Greg Kinnear plays much the same character as most of his movies but especially "Feast of Love". Jennifer Connelly is also her norm. The parents try to hard to be hip and unconventional as parents and maudlin as love interests. The movie is saved mostly by the actors who play the children and their interactions with their peers. The ending is of course familiar and touching but slightly too easy. Still a warm movie and mostly enjoyable.

It was a great film.Light hearted comedy with an actual message

I thought it was going to be a very cliché romantic movie, but I really enjoyed it! it seemed real and honest. the characters were great and it was very well casted. ive seen it about 2-3 times in the past month lol! def worth it.
