I bought this for my 10 year old who played the first game. He really liked the first one and so was excited for this one. He really like it. The building and crafting was fun and it has a lot of puzzle game elements that he liked.

Great game if you're looking for a quiet adventure to explore under the water. if you liked the first game, then definitely you will like this one!

I think if you like'd Subnautica, you won't have much issues with the sequel.

Bought for a friend I will gift at a later date. I have seen another person play it though and it looks like a interesting survivor type game on another planet. Good stuff for sci-fi lovers.

A major problem with this game; it will not load on my new PlayStation five. After inserting the disk, I follow the procedures to download the game and updates and it will not load. I receive a error message that cannot be overridden. I’d like to play the game, But so far it has been a waste of $70. Garbage! I have successfully loaded seven games so far on my PS five, I have dozens of games on my Dell gaming laptop and close to 100 games on PS4. This was not operator error!!!

I bought Subnautica: Below Zero on the PS5 store when it launched in May. I was enjoying it greatly with the new story line and new vehicles and then 32 hours in the save game functionality stopped working. Upon restarting the game, the whole save file was gone. If you go to the Unknown Worlds website/forum, you’ll see that the game suffers from these game breaking save game errors on more consoles than just the PS5. They recently released a patch that focused on fixing graphics bugs and lagging, but didn’t fix the save game error. What good are fantastic graphics if you periodically lose all of your saved progress!? The game might be good someday, but right now it’s just disappointing.

PS5 version plagued with crashes. Frequent saving required. If you're lucky like me, you'll lose your save file and all progress. Game breaking bug.
