I absolutely love this game and I have played it several times but on the Xbox it has a tendency to have long load times up to 5 minutes. It also can hang on saving causing you to lose your progress and you won’t know if it’s happening or not until you realize the save icon won’t go away and the world doesn’t load when you move away from where you clicked save. I even left my Xbox on for 3 hours to see if it would eventually save and let me keep saving and it never did. If I could do it again I would get it for PC not console because the beefier hardware can handle the game better.

Subnautica is a fantastic exploring and survival game that I find my son playing every chance he can get. He cannot wait to dive deeper into, there is always something new to explore. Gorgeous graphics and very unique sea creatures and wrecks make this very entertaining - my daughter pulls up her lovesac just to watch my son play this game

I was hesitant to get this game for Xbox due to some comments about issues with it. I am glad I decided to take the plunge (pun intended) and get the game as there are hardly any issues. With the statements that follow, keep in mind I've sunk over 24 hours of gameplay in already. So far I've noticed a few times where the ground does not render in quick enough but this is infrequent and usually only if moving quickly, just wait for a second to let it load in. There was some choppiness in very high activity zones but that smoothed out after all the elements rendered in (takes a few seconds). One time a save was lost, lost about an hour of game time (frustrating but not too bad). Overall, this is an incredible game that I intend to continue sinking hours and hours into because it is so rich and interesting. The map and environments are beautiful and terrifying at the same time. I highly recommend it on the Xbox as I believe the devs have fixed most of the issues and it is highly playable, but be prepared to occasionally have an issue once in a while - just be sure to save often.

Bought this game for my nephews, because they wanted it. They had fun exploring sea. Since they are on younger kids side (6-8yr). They got scared from story mode (sea monster) They enjoy creative mode where you can get all pods and submarines etc. My son told me it is old game, but graphics and experience was pretty good. Lots of fun for all ages

So far this game has been super fun. You explore underwater to find resources to craft items that allow you to explore deeper in the ocean. Graphically the game is pleasing. If you enjoy exploration games, this is highly recommended.

This game is almost completely under water. The box art probably gave that away. Very simple exploration game. Still had a pretty good time with it though.

Since minute one, that your ejected from the destroyed starship you will be submerge under an open aquatic world to explore. Your life will be safe inside your pod but surprises will never end while you are going further and deeper. Overall a very good survival game from another underwater islands point of view. Good Graphics and surreal shark creatures.

If you like open world something similar to minecraft or no man sky this is your game I love the traffics and the controls of the game but i just wish the game was little more simplified from the beginning with little more guides in the game but in general it a good game I enjoy and do recommend to play.

The framerate is buggy which can be annoying at times and I've come across some glitches so there is still some work in progress needed. But this is a really really fun game. Scary once you try to go deep and if you have a fear of water be prepared because big things swim deep.

Loved this game, its enjoyable, beautiful, even if a bit of a bit of a buggy mess still. Every now and then I will run into something where I lose and hour or two of playtime but I still keep going back to find more. It is well worth the cost and I feel like I have received a fair amount of playtime for the investment.

A cool survival and craft game that is still action fun and not overwhelming

If you want to put up with all the bugs, then you will like this game. It is really cool. But man, does it lag hardcore. Also sound issues, freezes. Unfinished product. I have X1X, too.

I honestly was disappointed. I thought ot was going to be better quality and fun. My teen lost interest in it.

My son saw this game watching YouTube videos and playing with his friends. It was not available near me in stores, but was available to order and have delivered. I ordered it online and arranged to have it delivered to my neighborhood Best Buy. They said it would be delivered in three days (on Friday,) and I kept tracking it. I got off of work and drove home...picked up my son and checked the website one more time. The site was updated and around 5pm and the item had arrived. Took my son over to our Best Buy to pick it up and he was thrilled. Thanks for coming through again..... he loves the game.

My 13 year old love it!! Bought this game for my son and he loves it. I don't play Xbox much, but the underwater graphics and the goal of the game seem interesting!!

My grandson was dying for this game and we put it in his stocking for Christmas he was excited and does not get off the game. He loves sharks.

Nice graphics and story of surviving on an alien word once you are shot down. You must find materials to build and craft with for you to survive.

Graphics are good. Lots of adventure. Kid likes it. Seems like a win. I’m not a video game expert past Metal Gear Solid but according to my son this was a solid $30 purchase.
