Gave the album a shot based off of RS review. Good production and a couple od decent tunes, but typical adolescent themes that grow tired as an adult

PRETTY GOOD CD not sure if I would buy it again you could hear most of the songs on top 40 radio.

the first song on this CD is edited. youre better off buying this off itunes.

OK bubblegum pop album, but it gets catchy the more you listen to it

Following up to an incredible debut like "True Romance" is difficult but "Sucker" doesn't even come close. It's mediocre pop fun (with an excessive emphasis on pop-rock sounds) but it doesn't offer the beautiful sentimentality of her previous album.

I must admit that this is a bit of a guilty pleasure...saw her on TV a couple of times and liked the songs so I checked out the CD. The production is basically modern pop but some of the songs do have a nice rock edge to them and the songwriting is strong with good melodies and some attitude. Not exactly my thing...but not bad either.

This album has been my go-to for a week now. Some tracks fizzle out after a few listens (the rivers cuomo co-written, Beverly Hills sounding "Hangin Around" comes to mind) but this record has fantastic energy and wicked production. I'm definitely a fan. **WARNING** There seems to be a manufacturing defect with the first run of these CD's, the first track "Sucker" is edited for swear words. Interestingly, the rest of the album is the explicit version. This is definitely something I wish I knew before I made my purchase. Be warned if you choose to buy

This is great for all into pop music. The singles are great.
