From the first time I watched this movie, I’ve always wanted to get a hard copy. I’ve got all the lines memorized. This is a movie I always recommend.

An action extravaganza of Miike’s brilliance and a twist of Tarantino.

The cheese factor is so off the charts its great! I thought this movie was going to be a dub but it wasn't; either that or it was a pretty good dub. This was kind of like watching a live action anime. It has has a number of amusing scenes in it as well. The look of the movie is great, it looks like they spent a lot of money. But for the amount of money spent, the intentional cheesiness made it a lot more enjoyable. Quentin is pretty funny in this too! Not a bad flick. Worth taking a look at. It kept me entertained.

When I first saw the trailer for Sukiyaki I thought it was going to be an awesome film, especially since it's directed by the most controversial director in Japan Takashi Miike but as soon as I popped it in there was an annoying camero by Quentin Tarinto and some bad english speaking by the Japanese actors. At first at thought that those were the only flaws this movie would have but then I realized how slow the movie was and how little action there was. Now I usually don't if there is alot of actions because I am more of drama fan but this film had no drama, so I the whole film just dragged on. Similiar films to this: -Kill Bill vol. 2 -Kill Bill vol. 1 -Desperado

Simply put, this movie is freaking nuts. The long story is that it is totally completely freaking sweet a__ nuts.

Don't waste $4.99 on this, it was Horrid!!! This movie was purely a waste of my time. I did not like it at all, though I am a fan of Anima. The action scenes where ok at best and it kept dragging on and on and on! I want those 2 hours of my life back that i wasted watching this flick! If you are looking for a good foreign action film WITH a plot look some where else. Hope this helps.
