This Blu-ray contains a lot of excellent special features that contain interviews from the Captain, himself. In addition, all the features are in 1080p(unlike older releases whose bonus materials are in SD). Worth owning.

The Blu ray quality: Picture and sound are good. Good surround. The plot: Tom Hanks hasn't made a bad movie in a long time. This movie is well written and acted. And if you watch closely, Clint get's a "Grand Torino" movie poster into the background. It is worth a look.

Four-and-a-half stars! It's been how many years since this plane "crashed" into the Hudson River, and we still get teary eyed watching this movie. Another great performance by one of the most versatile actors ever, Tom Hanks. At times it feels like a documentary, but we think they did a great job with the story. Keep watching for the interviews during the credits.

Enjoyed the movie, director client eastwood did a good job on the story telling. The 4k transfer was great, what was most impressive was the audio of the movie with the plane flying over it did well with the atmos setup.

Tom Hanks fit the role perfectly as Sully in this true to life drama. Aaron Eckhart was also great as a supporting actor. Clint Eastwood should also be credited as a great director and producer of this epic miracle on the Hudson.

I purchased this DVD for my dad. He loves watching this true story about Captain Sully landing on the Hudson River. Excellent story and super affordable price for a bluray DVD!

Good depiction of a real event. Also gives some insight into Sullys personal life and professional work. Unfortunate that he had a hard time defending his actions to the authorities, even though nobody died in the incident.

really enjoyed the movie, something the family can watch together, though wouldn't keep the attention of very little children, after watching all the TV news reports, it was interesting to see the behind the scenes NTSB process

Typical role for Tom Hanks and he nailed it! Hanks seems to thrive in roles that demand factual, historical commitment and this was a prime example. Sully became an iconic hero for that one snapshot in time, despite a long and professional career that I am sure had many other high points. Tom Hanks brings that moment to the forefront and shares it with us all, thank you.

A different take than the book. Sully is an inspiring gentleman, displaying courage and integrity in such a phenomenal way. The bonus disc contains actual data and info- wonderful! Makes one really appreciate our flight staff

How management tried to use just part of the truth to make results favor their point of view. By leaving 35 seconds out of the plane crash they could put plane crash on individual instead of aircraft and airline responseability

A gripping movie..making a real event seem even more real. Scenes of the real pilot and wife at the end. Sully went through months of anguish the public did not know about. A very well made movie and good qualuty DVD

Sully was one of the best movies; they let the audience have a small glimpse of how terrified anyone on that plane may have experienced. I thought it was one of the best movies I have seen that was based on an actual event.

Although I had seen the actual news footages many times of this plane (controlled) crash, I had not heard about how the FAA treated the heroic air crew whom were put through the ringer of misleading reenactments. Great movie.

We saw this movie in the theater, and knew we would want to get it from Best Buy when it arrived as a Bluray. This is an extraordinary story, very well done - good writing, good direction, really great actors. And it is true.

I love this movie. Tom Hanks and Aaron Eckart did an awesome job in this movie. I didn't know a lot about the politics/investigation that happen following the crash so it was nice to see that aspect of the movie. GREAT MOVIE!

We've all heard how Capt. Sullenberger landed a plane in the Hudson River to save 155 people. This movie tells how he faced an investigation that almost ended his career. It's amazing how that almost became a reality.

The movie was very well filmed. It didn't delve too far or run too long into life events or unnecessary facts. It follows the accident and immediately after. Really just simply focuses on that day. Great film. Awesome cast.

This was a very entertaining movie about the Miracle on the Hudson flight and the FAA board review afterwords. Follows the lines of the book, which I read. Hanks does a great job in this film. well worth the purchase.

The movie is great, highly professionally produced, and the acting is outstanding. An incredible true story that shows the bravery and heroics of Captain Sully and his crew during the Hudson landing.
