As a viewer who wasn't too familiar with the details of the events on the Hudson River, Clint Eastwood's film was very insightful and worked like a documentary. It was a stunning visual feat and a very captivating story.

Everybody knows about Captain Sully. This depiction is an excellent account of the heroic story of a pilot who mad a successful water landing on the Patomic River with zero loss of life. Story is well told, special effects put you into the plan and the acting is spot on. It's not a blood and gut movie but a story of humanity at its best. Try it, you'll like it.

Tom Hanks & Clint Eastwood are at their best in this great film. Both should've been nominated for Oscars as well as the movie itself. Aaron Eckhart is so good as the co-pilot and his moustache nearly steals the show.

This is a very well presented movie about a interesting thing that happened. Tom Hanks does a supper great job in this movie. So much of the time Hanks really seems like is sally. Would even tell my own mother to buy it.

Initially thought I knew the whole story... guy lands plane and saves people big deal... Storyline was much more than that however. Lots of things happened with that scenario that werent publicized. Very well done movie

Don't know how much was exaggerated about the Sully behind the scenes story, but the movie was a gripping accounting of his troubles explaining to review boards why it was necessary to land the jet in the Hudson river.

I saw this in the theater with a friend when it first opened and couldn't resist buying it for him with his new XMAS blu-ray player. It's Tom Hanks, playing the part of a true life hero - what's not to love?

Both the movie and the extra disc were exceptionally well done. It was interesting to see what they put the pilot and crew through. The people on that flight were exceptionally lucky to have had Sully as their pilot.

Now when I first heard of this accident I was not one to care about a pilot landing a plane. But after seeing the different points of view I am a captain Sully fan. Clint Eastwood does and amazing job as a director.

This is an Awesome movie that can be enjoyed by the entire family. Great story. Would Highly recommend this movie. Also the blue ray format is cool because you get the code to put it on a device. Great added bonus.

Few movies sustain ones attention 120 minutes but Scully definitively succeeds. It's a complete story highlighting events prior to and after the emergency landing on the Hudson River. A must see highly recommended.

Missed it at the theater, but wish we hadn't. It would have been great watching it on a big screen. Learned more about the incident. It was incredible that he managed to land in the water and have everyone survive?

Tom Hanks is such a great actor, I enjoy any movie he is in. This being a true story about a man who saved all the lives of his passengers and crew landing the plane as he did makes this a great feel good movie

As usual, Tom Hanks can't deliver a bad performance. The real story about this man and this occurrence is fascinating (look up Wikipedia) but this movie did an excellent job of portraying the whole thing.

I really couldn't wait to see this film. Tom Banks always does such a magnificent performance. I enjoyed learning the precision of proper landing protocol. Especially when it is unexpected during a y flight.

As a New Yorker this movie touches my heart. One of the many days New Yorkers came together to help each other out in a time of need. A must see movie. And as an aviation enthusiast this movie hits close to home

Always reliable Tom Hanks in another biopic after Bridge of spies. An oscar winning role for him even though he didn't get nominated. always been a big fan of clint eastwood movie and this one didn't disappoint.

If you think that you know the who story about Miracle on Hudson think again. This movie not only tells you about the landing but what Sully and first officer had to go through with investigation of the landing.

I like movies that are based on real events and this movie showed a lot of the stuff that was never in the news. Very informative as to what goes on after an event like this happens and how it effects everyone.
