What a pleasant surprise. Definitely paying homage to Stephen King's It (2017), Stranger Things, & Disturbia. A great coming of age dreamed with a thrilling third act that is not afraid to get dark.

This is a suspense/thiller and murder-mystery independent film. Love the 80's nostalgia and overall theme of this movie. Young male characters (and one female crush) are likable (despite a lack of character development from parents and other authority figures). Although it is not as well known, I still prefer it over Super 8, Donnie Darko, and even IT (2017). On the A/V side, picture is sharp and dialogue and electro sounds are crisp and clear. If you search out indie films, then I recommend checking this one out.

between this and Turbo kid RKSS are knocking it out of the park. Worth a watch simply because Le Matos does an amazing score again.

A good classic thriller movie with stranger thing vibes.

Growing up in the 80's as a kid you were always told that you could be kidnapped or murdered at any time. If you do not understand what I am talking about just do a web search for Johnny Gosch. This film takes place in the summer of 84 when some neighborhood kids begin to believe that their neighbor is a child killer. The movie is slick and enjoyable. The score is excellent and is definitely a throwback to John Carpenters work. Check it out.
