  • A Good Film Reminds Us of a Difficult Time in NYC

    John Le Guizamo is a great actor, but not quite believable as Italian American. Spike Lee is a very good director, and his vision of the 70's in NYC is totally believable. The script isn't perfect, but it's constantly interesting. If you're expecting a serial killer film, this isn't it. If you're willing to go with a character driven film, which explores small stories in a larger context, then this film is well worth seeing. Great commentary from Spike and John.

    Great movie, bought many years ago now and sadly lost in the ether of moving and travelling, but an interesting take on the reactions of a deadly threat from different members of various communities, based on real events in New York. A recommended watch.

    This movie made by Spike Lee shines in capturing the 1977 Son of Sam killer Sam Berkowitz as he terrorized NYC. Spike Lee does a great job in capturing the great blackout and making everything look accurate (Vehicles, clothing). I love this movie! John Liguizamo absolutely shines in this movie!

    This movie is great. I love how it centers on a few people but the background of the movie has the .44 caliber killer on the loose

    My favorite Spike Lee movie. Great Blu Ray transfer. Fast delivery by Best Buy made this even better.

    The dvd was damaged. I returnd it to the store in Wyomissing PA. I am waiting for the charge to be removed from my credit card. So sorry that this transaction is being handled so poorly.
