I am on the fence about whether to return this laptop within the 15 day window. I bought this for work. The battery life and pen input were my main concerns, but I also wanted something that could handle light gaming and an egpu later down the road. Pros: The build quality is great. The pen input is as good or better than my old surface pro 2017 model, although I do prefer the surface stylus. It's weightier and the nib has more resistance while writing. This is just a personal preference though. Luckily the pro stylus works fine on the summit, so my MSI pen is now a backup stylus. The keyboard is pretty good for an Ultrabook and the trackpad is fine for all day use. I am not sure yet about battery life yet as I haven't had a chance to test it. I am currently getting 4-5 hours while on zoom calls. The fans are loud under gaming load, and the laptop has had some performance issues. Twice while playing a 10 year old game it throttled the cpu down to 200mhz and it stayed at that speed even when cpu temps were showing 56C on throttlestop and I closed the game. I had to reboot it in order for the cpu to start operating normally. It also froze up once while on a zoom call with a client. I've played a 3+4 hours of games on it and except for the two drops in cpu performance it's handled it well. But it's pretty concerning on a laptop I've only owned for 3 days and paid $1600 for. It seems like a software or firmware issue. The cpu performs extremely well on benchmarks for an ultraportable, and the cooling solution, while loud, seems to do a good enough job at keeping temps down. I do really like everything else about the laptop. This is MSI's first shot at a professional level 2 in 1, so they may just need to iron out a few bugs. The performance of the cpu will pair great with an egpu.I do really like everything else about the laptop. If it keeps having performance issues I may just exchange it and see if it's a qc issue. I know at least one YouTube reviewer had a similar issue. His summit throttled to 200mhz but only when the cpu and gpu were both stressed. If you're thinking about purchasing, I might wait to see if this is a more widespread issue.

The design of this business laptop is totally gorgeous, fancy, and perfect. It's very light and convenient for those who will carry the laptop around. The battery lasts long as it's up to 12-14 hours, still depend on what you use. Very easy to use MSI pen and work perfectly with the laptop. Recommended to buy.
