I got my digital download but the product key doesn't work and can figure out how to make it work

I purchased the digital copy. I received the DL in my library and was able to DL. However there Is no license key to activate the product. without the key it is useless. contacted and was told to contact the company. Sent the company all receipts as requested with no response. Basically wasted a bunch of time and money, should had just flushed my cash in the toilet, at least I would had saved myself some time.
