This thing is great. I can't believe all of the dead stuff it pulled up. I filled 3 trash cans of dead grass and I have a tiny yard. I followed the advice of previous reviewers and left the collection bag off. I just went over it with my lawnmower to suck it up afterwards. I wish I had gotten it sooner as I probably over seeded too late in the season. I am looking forward to using it again in the spring. The only thing that annoyed me was having to drag the super heavy cord over the yard but it was a small nuisance.

I have used my Sunjoe about 5 times since purchasing in the Spring. I’ve not used a gasoline power rake, so I can’t say that this one is better, but I can say that the Sunjoe is better for my needs. I bought a 100ft extension cord that is long enough for me to complete my front and back yard. I find it easier to use it without the bag since the bag fills up quickly. Easy to change between thatch and scarifier attachments, and adjust the height. Overall satisfied with the purchase.

Best buy sent me a used damaged product! This product you can tell was sold to someone and it was returned. There is still dirt inside the machine. There are bends in the plastic. I cannot believe Best Buy really believed I was gullible enough to think I was going to keep this product.

Use it once and it’s paid for. The local rental was $100. It is small, but I have a small yard. It really works. Changing the blades isn’t the easiest.

Did what it was advertised to do would have been 5 stars if the collection bag on the back wasnt so small. Even better solution would have been to have a universal clamp to use a regular size mower bag. Had the power to perform the task was alittle difficult to turn but for the price point was to be expected perfect for anyone with a stanard size front lawn been 3 weeks already seeing positive results from the newly planted seed.

This works like a charm to repair your lawn. Having interchangeable drums is additional savings for the price. No complaints or issues with it so far.

it does a great job hatching your lawn. The bag is not useful as it fills up quickly. The extension cord has a max length of 100ft. Recommended for a small yard.

I cannot believe how well this little tool works. The bag i would believe is more for the raking your lawn not Dethatching your lawn.

So far so good, only used 2 times but work as expected. Easy to assembly. Only complain is switching tools is not that fast or easy, little room and you have to apply some force. I think bearing holder for the tools should be made of metal not plastic, I do not think will last too much. We will see.

Great little machine, good for smaller lots. I gave it 5 stars because it has enough power to do the job, however the collection bag is kind of useless because of all the thatch it produces so fast. The bag fills within seconds, best not to use it and just rake it up. All and all works as should.

Works as promised in removal of thatch creating parallel scrapes in bare soil. Fertilized and seeded lawn to achieve great results. I wish there were a cordless option…I think it’s coming

Works great, really does what its designed for. Very easy to assemble and use. The only negative is the size of the collection bag, it is not big enough to truly hold all the thatch that it pulls up. I use it without the bag and just pick up the debris with my mower or blow and rake it up. Still a great product.

The machine works as designed. The dethatching works fine on even ground. You have to be careful on uneven ground because it will scalp high spots and miss low spots. I find that scarifying takes out more grass than I expected and I will rarely, if ever, use this feature again.

Only good for a small lawn. The bag as other noted is useless. Came missing the middle part of the handle. Made a phone call and received in a week.

Works very well, but wish I had opted for a battery version. Using a cord is cumbersome and slows down the process a great deal.

This lil mower definitely exceeded my expectations. My yard was a mess. Tall grass. It definitely cut it down good. Only thing I had an issue with the weeds. Ez to use.

Love the Sun Joe. My neighbors love it too. I had so much thatch that I chose not to used the dispenser bag on back. The dethatcher is very easy to use.
