Posted .Thanks for sharing your review! On Sunbeam stand mixers, the bowl spins on a freely spinning base by the nylon tip of the cone shape beater. The bowl may need to be nudged with your hand to encourage it to spin. If you're experiencing excessive noise from the beaters, this is definitely something we'd like to look into for you. Great product; meets my needs!

A few reviews I read mentioned that the bowl does not always move on its' own. This can be corrected by using the lever to move the bowl as if you are adding ingredients; the bowl twirls around just fine in this position. I will mostly likely use this mixer just for making cakes, cookies, quiche, and the like; not heavy bread dough. It meets my needs!

If you don't want to go "all in" for a super high-end (ie; expensive) mixer but also don't want to buy a cheap appliance then this is the perfect compromise. Quality, durability, and won't really break the bank. This will last as long I'll be cooking - no question!

Takes some getting use to

Not my first choice but working good

Not what I was hoping for

Purchased this new model with high hopes & it failed miserably. Not much weight to it, the bowl doesn't lock into place & only comes with one bowl. Just a cheap version of what they used to make. Extremely disappointed.

From my work, the mix does not quite get all I need - so get a good scraper with this. Nice motor speeds.

Makes food prep so much easier!
