This tripod was on sale for $9.95, and included an attachment to hold a smart phone. This was an excellent value. I have used the tripod several times already. It's light weight and 20" collapsed length allow me to carry it in my Goldwing motorcycle trunk for use on rides. Having said that I would caution that at this price level the tripod seems somewhat delicate. I'm concerned that the gear driven height adjustment may fail if treated roughly. So I would recommend a tripod a little further up the cost chain to avoid concerns about breakage or damage.

Got on sale to use to take family holiday pictures. Pictures came out great. It was easy to set up with our camera. Could've got a tripod that can expand higher but does the job that I need.

I use this tripod with a Sony r700 video camera to record myself teaching. It came mostly assembled. The quick release function is nice for setting up quickly. I don't have to take the time to screw it on and level it properly. Speaking of levels, it comes with a built-in level to make sure your picture is straight. It feels like good quality, and I'm confident it will hold up for quite a while.

This is a nice tripod and have used it for my camcoder. The material is little cheap and that is why rated 4, but otherwise does standup to my expectation. Not bad for the price I paid.

Purchased for $10 on Black Friday. Feels flimsy from first touch, but actually able to hold up my DSLR pretty well. The GoPro and celphone accessories that it came with are also a plus!

I bought this for my grandson as a starter tripod. I own a sunpak tripod that has given me good service for 4 years so at the price point this tripod is at it was a steal.

Really awesome, solid built tripod. None of that plastic material, mind you. Nice, solid steel and will last a lifetime! I love it!

Think about it, it is good price, so you get what you pay for. It works like a stand. But if may has difficult aiming to a sharper angel or something.

It was easy to set up and is use to use. Come out from packing already assembled, only what I needed to do to set the top mount for my cell and start shouting a stable videos and realy nice pictures. I was impressed with the clear videos, it was stoning. I would recommend this stand to everyone for this amount of money. Great product, good job.

It works fine but you have to treat it with kid gloves. The first time I set it up I actually pulled the middle pole out, which was fixed pretty easily but I don't know how long term stability might be affected. I got it on sale for $9.99 and it's certainly worth that price but I don't think it would be worth the regular price of $39.99. The recommend to a friend question I'm going to answer based on the price at which I bought it.
