great tripod for the beginner

It does well for solid ground but if your into nature it is a little difficult to handle at first. I am a tall guy and fully extended i have to bend down a bit to see my view finder. But I would recommend this to others and friends.

Great cheap tripod

Only issue is no little extra tab on the mounting stand to fix my projector in one orientation and the screw doesn't screw in all the way to the bottom of my project for some reason.

Very good tripod for lighter weight camera

It fits just fine, however my 4 star rating is that this tripod is better used for a light weight camera. It's fairly unstable with my camera. The tripod works well, adjusts to many and numerous positions very well. I like the hand grip. It's better used with a Power shot style camera.

Sturdy and durable

Cheap and flimzy

It is very light weight and entirely made of plastic and will do the job of holding the camcorder I purchased with it. But I'm not impressed.
