    I was surprised at the low price when I purchased it but I knew why it was so cheap as soon as I opened it. The gear to raise and lower the tripod was stuck and I had to really pull on the handle to move it. Back it went.

    This is a great tripod for still photos, not very good tool for video of anything moving as the pan and tilt aren't smooth

    This tripod is made of aluminum, so it is sturdy. Only downside is that since it's black, sratches will be visible.

    a rare-- "not Pleased with Product"---experience from Best Buy---did get a good deal--at $14.99---marked down from around $40--the box was not sealed and tri-pod did have broken clasp (clamp) for one of the legs--astonishingly the broken piece was still in the bag--at any rate the unit does serve its purpose --but never would i pay the full suggested retail price

    We went in looking for an inexpensive tripod. Not only did we hit that nail right on the head - it was only $10! - but it's really good quality, better than our last, more expensive one, & it even comes with a carry bag! I can't recommend this highly enough.
