Customers enjoy the Essentials Vlogging Kit's excellent lighting and ease of use, frequently praising its quality and lightweight design. However, some found the stand's stability and size to be less than ideal, with comments suggesting the base could be improved for better support. The stand's height was also a point of concern for some users.

Got this for the prize and the reviews. received it with in a week and it was half way assemble. The rest was pretty easy and does come with clear instructions. Asked my self why would some one need three phones facing them. no matter, I was hoping that it could be used facing away and it does so it could be use if I was facing some one else and they could use this as well. The only draw back is that if your phone has any type of casing it wont hold on to it. I have a rugged phone (3/8 thick) and it barely holds on with no case. Love the three light settings (color temperature, white, blue , yellow and brightness control). The weight of the base is not to heavy but enough to keep it stable. In the picture, I have two phones facing forward and one away. It has two ball joints so it can be adjusted to any of your liking, One for the light (plastic by the way and feels cheap but better than glass, if it fell you would have a mess or a serious injurie) the other on the phone bar with the attachments that can also be adjusted. Used it for a few meeting and I gotten a lot of complements. Only had it for a week, so cant really say how for the long it will last but I take care of my stuff. Its feels really solid except for the light but I'm not complaining, others might have a deferent preference. Thinking of getting another one for a friend.

Purchased with the surge in Zoom-call after start of the pandemic. Unit is functional providing face lighting from desktop setup at a height of 40 inches located behind the desktop monitor offering one button click-on and plug-in to rear monitor USB port. Price point was reasonable, includes a storage/carry-case for portability. Have not used the Smarphone bracket, but is easy to install and allows for the use of up to three (3) Smartphones. Durable and sturdy. My use has been for facial lighting on stationary desktop Zoom-call only. Highly recommended!!!

I like the light, but the tripod is fragile. We put it near its highest height. It tipped over and broke. I tried to return it, but it was a week or so past to return policy so I was stuck trying to hold it together using a red ribbon, but it's difficult. I couldn't see purchasing another one for that reason.

This stand is good for a light to help me with makeup, I have a samsung galaxy s10+ and it does hold my phone without a case. It doesn't extend enough to hold with the case. The bottom stand is weighted which is nice. However. It's pretty difficult to put together, the pieces were all over the place the instructions are unclear and it is unstable when extended to full height. The ring light doesn't stay in position exactly right. Overall if you are looking for something cheap it isn't bad. I would maybe recommend.

If you need to light a smaller room, it’s perfect. It’s lightweight and easily movable. I just wish the base was better. Sometimes I need to lean it on something else when it’s at a taller height. Otherwise, good product.

Solid light for hobby use

I've been using this light for working with circuits and hobbies with small parts. Once positioned, the light is bright enough to illuminate the work space very well, but diffuse enough that it doesn't make overly bright spots on reflective surfaces or inconvenient shadows in the work area. I generally keep it on the white light setting and can't comment on the other color warmth options.
The stand is nice and sturdy for just the light, with enough weight to keep everything in place in the position I keep it in. The controls are also easy to use and make sense. I don't use the phone/camera holder or the case so can't comment much on those.
The two main issues that I have taken a star off for are the price and the positioning of the controls. I don't honestly know what competitive pricing is for accessories for streaming and vlogging, but for what this kit is it seems too much. It is essentially a LED array with some plastic for diffusion and then a decent, but not fancy, mic style mini stand. I would price the value of this about $20 less, but that is just my opinion. Maybe the case and phone holder make it more reasonable, though they don't add value for me, so I didn't penalize the unit very much for the price.
The controls are inline with the cable and just hang there. There isn't anything to secure them to the stand. No clips or mounts. The controls are so far down on the cable that ,at the height I am using, they hang down under my desk. I have to wrap the cable gently around a stand adjustment knob to keep them at a reasonable working height, but the controls always eventually slide down again under the desk. The cable isn't very thick, so buying a mic stand clip etc. won't work. It would have been nice to have something provided that fit the kit exactly and secured the controls where desired.
Overall, it's not bad for hobby use. Locally, it was the best option I could find that wasn't excessively expensive for my use. Definitely beats using a standard desk lamp for detail work, and I know I won't have to worry about positioning or height problems in the future with the stand that is provided. I don't know about it's intended use, but it's a decent option if you need solid work lighting for hobbies!

Stand/base is a little wobbly but the light works perfect for streaming on twitch (twitch.tv/king_wiswallio please and thank you) compact and brighter than heck!!!! It even lights everything up so that there are no unwanted shadows (the infamously hated triple chin shadow of course is what I’m referring to) and the fleshy tone light setting works great for eliminating to much glare off of my pasty white skin when I’m live in camera.

Set up is easy and the 3 different light settings offer customized lighting. Putting the phones on can be difficult as the adjustment holders are very tight Stand tends to wobble so it has to be on sturdy ground and once phones are adjusted minimize the touching to prevent wobbling.

Good Lighting Source for Video Calls and Vlogging

This is a decent product and is extremely functional for conference calls where the stand can be placed on a steady surface like a desk rather than placing on the floor and extending it full length. Some other reviews mentioned it toppling over when they did this. I don't think I would ever have a use for 3 phones at once so this feature is not a benefit for me.
The initial assembly was a bit time consuming and because of this I don't ever see using the travel bag because it would be a pain to take apart and reassemble again.
Bottom line - a good product for the price. Works for the intended purpose of adding a good lighting source for your videos or conference calls.

My daughter absolutely love this light. Great for all her app videos, face-time and more. It give you perfect light tone with different setting. Would have giving it five stars but the base need more weight to it or changed to a wider base.
