I bought this for my trip to Paris this summer. I haven't played with it much, but its very flexible and light, and will fit easily into my messenger bag.

THis was too big for my needs. If all you want to do is wrap it aroudn things (tree branches, fences), this is an excellent choice. If you want to use as a traditional tripod at all, get something else.

I travel a lot for work so this is perfect to use with my camera.

This seemed like an easy way to mount the camera on anything in order to get closeup pictures of my wife and I while on vacation. I'm just glad I opened it up before going on the trip. The legs are very awkward to move and unstable. The connection where the camera mounts to the tripod is unstable. I wouldn't trust this tripod if I had a disposable camera, much less a brand new point and shoot. I wanted it so I could mount the tripod on objects - this is only functional when left on the ground...at twice the price of a conventional tripod that would fit my needs.
