Battery-powered puts out a ton of light. A little bulky but not too bad. Fairly cheap. I've used it several times. It worked for what I bought it for. If you need a cold shoe light, this one is fine.

Video light is simple to use but will only work well with your subject or subjects up closer. Keep in mind that this is just a video light and not a flash. Very basic and helpful for beginning photography or videography.

This light is for constant light photography. It has an additional filter that can also be used with it. It will mount to a hot shoe on a camera or has a threaded connector for tripod. Low to high light setting and bvery strong for it's size.

I had an older set of Sunpak lights. The battery finally gave out. I purchased 2 of these Sunpak - LED 96 Video Lights. I especially like the fact that they use batteries and don't recharge. They are bright, and the brightness is adjustable.

I wanted a light for the rare occasions I would need it. Once I mounted it to the Canon M50 cage, I use it all the time. It makes the scene so much better. An inexpensive, lightweight light that is dimmable. Perfect for my Vlog.

Surprisingly Bright Light

This small light lacks quite a punch in terms of brightness. It also comes with dimmer/color inserts to help you diffuse the light, as well and change the color temp. Only downfall is it runs on regular batteries, so be sure to use rechargeable ones so you aren’t burning through them.

i was hoping to use for macro photo shooting ,, but need to make a bracket to hold 2 units and hit the subject .. it put out good lighting to play with ..
i also been using it as a general flash light at times ,, and it great to provide a flood light effect if you need to more aound in the dark in the house on blackouts and being out side at night too ..
and even to search for things in dark scary places ,, it works well .. to scare the ghost away ..

Nice Light -- A Good Idea!

Hi, Everybody:
This is a pretty interesting type of light. You can mount it on a 1/4" - 20 tripod, and it has a diffuser. It takes batteries that are of a standard type you can purchase in a store. I went out and bought some rechargeable batteries with a charger for it.
Somebody else incorrectly reviewed this on YouTube, saying that it would take a direct power plug-in, like you can get from an AC adapter, but this is completely untrue. The only way you can power this is with batteries that you insert inside it.
You can attach this to a camera shoe, such as the type found on DSLRs.
However, with a little bit of resourceful Ingenuity, you can actually attach this to almost any type of camera. Here's how: You can buy a short little 1/4" - 20 threaded rod from a home improvement store. You can screw one end of that short little rod into this light, and the other end into the camera. The process is that simple! Of course I also bought some washers and wing nuts to help tighten the rod against the camera and the light, so you need at least two wing nuts and two washers to help you do this with that one rod.
You can also buy an adapter set from GoPro that lets you do the same thing, once you put an adapter on your GoPro camera.
Basically, the adapter would let you attach your GoPro camera to a 1/4" - 20 tripod, but with the little threaded rod, the two washers, and the two wing nuts, you can attach it to your GoPro camera.
Have a Super Time, Everybody! John

I use this for YouTube but it's a little on the harsh side. the defusers that come with it don't really defuse that much light. I wear glasses so it can be really hard but even without it. it can cast a heavy shadow on my green screen. I would use this for videography for parties, not static shots for YouTube.

Photographing smaller projects that need extra lighting, this item could help bring in that extra light needed. It is battery operated (4 AA) with 96 LEDs and has a brightness control. All plastic construction.

The light works extremely well when used in a sufficiently dark studio. If there is an abundance of ambient light, the effect of the spot is lessened. Overall, though, a very good buy for the cost.

This light has worked well for what it's purpose is. The quality is a bit lacking due to the plastic casing and parts though. However, the price is very reasonable!

If you need light quick and can’t wait for an order online. Then this works. It has different settings of lighting and it can get very bright.
