It's good for iphone or other real light point and shoot. It's not real stable but something is better than nothing when you're hiking and want to keep things light. It is best used in combination with self timer or cable release to eliminate shake. For new iphones that doesn't have the head phone jack that is used as cable release then the self timer is the answer.

I bought 2 of these as stands for 2 LED lights. They're very compact and light weight. Easy to use for youtube video casting from home. For the same amount I could have bought sturdier cam tripods but I chose these bc otherwise I'd be carrying so much sh.. around the whole time. They do the trick!

This is the only tripod I can find that stands pretty tall (at about 40 inches I believe), but is small enough to fit in a small bag. I have used it a few times so far and it is durable enough, but I am careful with it. In order to be this small, the legs are very slim. But well worth the small price, even if I have to buy a new one every so often. Beats lugging around a heavy tripod on the outside of my bag.

The tripod's size makes up for some of its flaws. Its portability helps when I'm traveling with my camera. However, my only flaw is adjusting the length of the legs. It feels cheap and sometimes, my camera's weight pushes the adjustable legs down. Overall, good tripod for a starter photographer like myself!

Very light and portable. Use it for oversea travel for my phone and action cam. Not as stable, but good for quick setup for photo and video.

It’s very compact & good for traveling. Work well with small lightweight cameras, like a GoPro or a point & shoot digital. But too flimsy for a larger DSLR, and when it is fully raised and legs extended it’s pretty unstable and floppy.

Had one of these years ago. It is lightweight and compact yet sturdy enough to hold my Sony Nex5. As I do a lot of hiking (not wilderness survivalist type) I've used it with cheap Cell phone adapter for selfies as well. Small and light enough to keep in backpack without too much trouble. I bought 2 on "open box" promotion. Definitely recommend.

I bought this for hiking with the hopes that it would be sturdy enough for my DLSR. It is very lightweight, which is great for a backpack. Low price, so a good value. I can use it with my camera as long as it is not fully extended. My camera is the max weight. It will work much better with a lighter camera, but works for me and great value.

Decent travel and lightweight tripod but a little flimsy which can produce some motion blur when shooting stills. Make sure to size it up given the size and weight of your camera before buying. Would work much better with smaller cameras.

This is a great little tripod for a compact camera. I use it hiking and cycling and it fits easily into a cycling jersey. It extends to a good height. Do not expect this tripod to provide stability for long exposures or with anything larger than a compact.

This tripod is nice and convenient. I first used it on campus for a school project, because I did not want to carry my bigger tripod and I've yet to have any issues. It hold me camera and it is compact enough to fit in my messenger bad when I'm done. Very easy to use.

All in all this item performed as expected. Is very compact, lightweight, and it simple to use. I used this item for a webcam at a videoconference, but I can imagine it would work equally as well for a traditional SLR or DSLR.

I use this tripod primarily for a tiny picopro prjector and it works well for me. Once fully extended, the legs do seem a little wabbly, but it does the job. Folds down to be carried in a backpack, and that's pretty good. With the legs not fully extended, it's great for table-top use. Make sure you lock the legs though.

Great little mobile tripod. Much easier to move around than a full size but if your camera is heavy it can be a little rough but great value.

Perfect height to get family picture. It is very sturdy. The tripod is lightweight that you can bring it anywhere you go. Very handy if you want to bring it on family trips and vacation. Even my kids can assemble it, it screww in perfectly to my video camera and digital camera.

The tripod does the job for a great price on sale. Yes it is flimsy, but for the small compact, storage size its prettry good. Need to be very careful extending and collasing this. various sections stick. But again for something to throw in the car for a weekend use at a kids game perfect!. Not for everyday use .

The tripod truly does it's job. It's easy to store, not heavy, simple to use. I would have preferred a taller extending one. It doesn't feel as heavy duty as I would have preferred but it does do the job.

I purchased this tripod as a gift for use with the Nikon - Coolpix L830 Digital Camera I bought for my niece. It's easy to use, light enough to carry and because it can be telescoped quickly, it also fits easily in a small utility bag.

I use this tripod to take better pictures it is versatile in that it has legs that can be set to a large number of different heights. Each leg adjusts independently allowing you to set up on uneven terrain. It is priced better than other brands that I compared this tripod to

Lightweight and portable, this basic tripod is very useful for my purposes as a presentation coach. Combined with an inexpensive mount for a tablet, the tripod can be used as a hands free video solution. Very convenient especially for someone who has to travel.
