For $20, it gets the job done in a pinch

Very lightweight tripod that isn’t made of the best materials but it gets the job done in a pinch. Not for use with heavy cameras as it may not hold the position you lock it in. I’m not sure how it would stand up to being treated roughly. I would get a better tripod if you’re going to use it a lot.

It is very flimsy. To be fair, maybe my camera was too heavy and snapped the piece that helps it spin. Either way, it's still usable, just not the best quality. It gets 4 stars because it was a decent price on sale.

This is the second Sunpack tripod I've bought from BestBuy. The first is a 7500TM purchased over ten years ago. The differences between the two are like night and day: the 7500 is sturdy with a lot of thick aluminum; the 5858 is really light, not sturdy and mostly plastic. I had to exchange two of the 5858's until I found one that had legs that easily extended full out. With all that said, the less than 20 dollar price and the 5858's ultimate ability to handle a lightweight camera or sound device in no wind or indoor settings, makes for an average rating. What I would really like is another Sunpak 7500TM.

I got this under short notice as I need it to film something and use a good amount of stability. It's not the best, but if you need something urgently this works out just fine

I needed Tripod that could be used for a DSLR Camera or a Video Camera. This one works for both and has a level built in to make sure you have it positioned correctly. It is very lightweight and has adjustable legs so it can be used on top of something or as a stand alone tripod. It fold up easily for storage. Very pleased with this purchase!

We use this tripod to do live videos of our church service. We have also used it to record daycare videos for parents and do photo shoots with the children. We have only used it indoors, and it is very sturdy. It is a great height or you can leave it lowered for more of a tabletop use. We are very pleased.

While going through the store I saw so many different tripods. Many of them were in the 70 or 80 dollar range. Then I found this one that was only in the 20 dollar range. It looked as if it could do all the exact same things all the other more expensive ones could do. So I said, "HECK YEAH!" and went for this one. And I was not disappointed! This tripod stands tall and short and right in the middle. It's perfect! I would recommend it to anybody!
