this is a great tripod for getting action shots or mounting onto a pole or a tree. I had some trouble with the legs wrapping really tight but its not a big issue it still gets the job done.

Half the price of the more expensive brand that will do the same exact thing. Very useful for those hard to reach shots and easy to use. the only downfall is that the flexibility is not very strong and legs will open up under weight

Great replacement Tripod for my GoPro

I needed a new small tripod for my GoPro. This one works great!
I had a super basic fixed legged tripod with a plastic mounting screw. As you can imagine, after a few uses, that mounting screw snapped off.
This Sunpak Flexible Tripod was on sale so I snatched it right up and I'm glad I did. It's much better constructed, taller and I'm looking forward to being able to modify the legs to grip different mounting locations.
It also came with an adapter to change the mounting screw to a GoPro mount. Also, the mounting screw sits on a disc that can be removed from the tripod which is very handy.
My only disappointment is that it is only rated up to 1.1 lbs. of weight. I would like it to handle my DSLR, but for the price paid, I'll be just fine.

Cheap alternative to the GoPro brand

I was looking for a cheap flex tripod but wasn’t spending the GoPro level just for the GoPro name. Woods good overall but the arms need to be a bit tighter if you plan to mount to a moving object.

If I'm being honest, this thing is not great. I've seen tripods that look just like this one on some videos from content creators where they wrap them around light stands or whatever is close and convenient and they stay right where they are. This one does not do that. This one barely wants to hold my very small DLSR when I set it up as a traditional desktop tripod. Find the other brand that everybody else uses and get that instead.

Not the best, flimsy and unstable if in any position other than the normal tripod.

I do really like this and think it is super versatile and easy to travel with but it is little unstable with the weight of my camera. I have to be very careful with positioning it but I can usually manage.

Holds the web cam perfectly. The flexibility of just wrapping it around a pole is a nice feature but it is also a decent tri pod you can set on a desk as well.

Just what I need at a reasonable price. The legs hold on to posts and tree limbs and railings. It fits my video camera as well as my 35 mm. Versatile compact tripod.

Very versatile - will work on just about any surface, especially if there is a corner or edge. Takes a little adjustment, so not for quick shots, but overall works great.

This looked like exactly what I wanted a mount that I can put anywhere by just bending it into the form I wanted and it would stay there. The problem is that the joints are weak. If I try to put it in a regular tripod position it usually just slows melts for a lack of a better word to the ground. I can get it to stay up properly but I have to tinker with it and balance it. I do not recommend this product the concept is cool but it lacks in execution.

If it was design to sit on a table, great.
It hangs off some objects ok but takes time to lock the legs in a robust manner.
It's really not made for anything bigger than a couple of pounds. So that mini projector (despite having the correct socket) isn't going to sit well without falling down.
It's basic and made for basic webcams so you can't expect too much from this.

This stand was surprisingly easy to install and use virtually anywhere. I used it as a stand to level my mini projector onto a table. The design of this product allowed me to adjust the stand with little to no issues. It also acted stable for over 2 hours. My only complaint would be that it eventually started to slowly shift under the weight of my projector causing the legs to expand. That being said, it still held my projector up for a whole movie and a half, so I was still pleased.

I'm handicapped so I shoot photos of wildlife from my car. This tripod helped keep my Nikon steady since I am 81 and my hands shake though the camera can handle it. It's so handy as it can be wrapped around so many things in or out of the car. I even use it in the house when I shoot from windows. We have a back yard full of flowers and bird seed to attract birds, humming birds, squirrels, rabbits, butterflies which I have used as my subjects.

Great tool for your go pro setup, kind of clunky and cumbersome but overall very effective and easy to use and setup in unique spaces.
