Only reason it doesn’t get 5 stars is the ball adjuster was stuck and took a lot of wiggling and twisting. Got it unstuck after a week. Some people online report similar issues of the ball “seizing up” which disables one of the tripods main features. Now that it works, it’s incredible. Top notch build quality aside from the ball, great height options. Lightweight. Overall really great.

I purchased this tripod as a birthday gift. It's very sturdy and can support quite a heavy D-SLR camera with a heavy zoom lens. Its also heavy enough to provide support in windy conditions. It has a lot of great features, like a removable head pan, so you can remove the camera from the tripod for free style shooting without having to unscrew the plate from the bottom of the camera/battery grip. Tripod also came with a carrying case with a shoulder strap, which is a great amenity.

Terrific Portable Tripod

This tripod is exactly what I was looking for when I purchased it. Folds up very compact and is reasonably light. Use to shoot with a Canon 6D which is above average weight and size and I'm not worried about the tripod supporting it.
Tripod has a standard setup with lets close together and an alternate locking position to have the legs far apart (obviously losing considerable height this way) for extra stability when needed.

Dropped and broke my tripod while on vacation and went to Best Buy to find a replacement for some waterfall photography I had planned the next day. My old tripod was a ball head, and this one was a little harder to use, but worked great once I got used to it. My camera and lens are a little over 6 pounds, and this tripod did a very good job securely supporting it for the long exposures.

I'm starting my new venture of recording videos for YouTube and I needed a really good tripod to record myself standing, sitting and more. I got a live demonstration by a Best Buy associate who said he also owned the same tripod. I'm 5'5" so when he stretched it out it was perfect in height if I ever wanted to record standing up. It's sturdy but not too heavy and is very compact once you break it down. I love it!

I reviewed a number of tripods before purchasing this one. I particularly like the premium design and build quality. The tripod worked well in all advertised configurations with my Nikon D5500 with both 18-55 mm and 55-300 mm lenses. It is easy to set up and use.
Pros - Compact folded size makes it east to carry, Carry bag included, Light weight, Premium design and build quality.
Cons - Haven't experienced any.

Great for hiking and or backpacking. Think waterfalls, Milky Way trips, or whatever you can imagine. Will stabilize my Nikon D850 with a Tamron f/2.8 lens with no problem. Has the ability to get down low and still retain decent hight for landscape shots. I would purchase this again. The legs lock firmly and are easy to adjust.

I am disabled but love taking pictures recording my podcast and so much more. This product is light weight. That for me is a benefit, lightweight and small package. It’s single sling type shoulder bag makes it easy to attach to my wheelchair. I have used this with my camera and video handy cam by Sony and by far this is the best hands down hobby trippd

Tripod is nice but the legs can be kinda wonky at times.
The last extension piece will come all the way out if you are not careful and there seems to be this little foam that keeps it sturdy *which can fall out if you are not careful*
Outside of that I love it. Great easy to use does not weigh much.

Tripod worked great! The only issue is the speed extending it completely - it is the twist type and I am used to lever which are very quick to extend. Light and folds up to a very small size. I would give it like a 4.5 as it is a very nice tripod.

Just a nice sturdy really good tripod. You can use it with Video Cameras, DLSR's. Mirrorless cameras and Point and Shoots. You can mount a phone as well. It reaches up to 63 inches, high enough for most people and it folds down to a nice small size. It's very good quality.

Nice and sturdy. Definitely handled the weight of my camera and the super long zoom. I think the twist lock mechanisms on the legs are a bit less friendly than other types on some other tripods, but this worked well for me and at a reasonable price.
