So far I'm very impressed with the build quality. Honestly it seems a bit more beefy that the manfrotto elements I got in the same price range. I'm a pro but don't use this much professionally... I havea 3LT for that. This one will be used as a beater basically, for outdoors and hdr shoots I do recreationally. This one has already traveled with me and used daily with my Digital projector at home. It has been knocked over into sharp hard wooden table edges by animals and people a like with zero signs of wear and tear. I am confident that I will get more heavy usage out of this tripod than the similarly priced manfrottos I have had in the past. It's heavier but often times that's a good thing.

I wanted something relatively small, but sturdy enough for traveling....this item is that. It’s well-built, compacts down to a decently small size, and worth the penny if you need a good tripod for traveling and just general use.

I needed a tripod for our trip to 3 national parks. I found this one at while buying a memory card. I was very happy with my purchase. It's lightweight, sturdy and easy to use. I suggest it to anyone looking for a tripod at a good price.

It's light and easy to carry. Stands steady but I need to check instructions for securing the head better. Takes a moment to unlock, extend and lock each leg but it's the type of locking mechanism I prefer (threaded) since the other kind did not stay in place.

The first time I used the tripod, one of the legs extended all the way out and snapped the cheap plastic whatever that was suppose to stop it from extending off. I returned it and got another new tripod. The new tripod is working well, I orginally purchased this because it was very compact when closed so it was perfect to attach with my backpack. It's not the strongest metal legs so do not put a lot of weight on it. I would not recommend using the hook to attach your bag, it can make the legs weak and can make the tripod more easily tip over due to weight. I enjoy that it also includes a carrying zippered case.

Excellent tripod for travel. Lightweight. Relatively sturdy. Folds up compactly. It has a hook underneath the center post to allow you to hang weights (or your camera bag) to lower its center of gravity and increase stability.

This is my go to tripod for outdoor photography. It’s small and light enough for me to take on hikes. It is strong and durable to use in rough terrain. I use it on my Sony A7II, as well as my Canon 7d. Very durable, light and stable.

Purchases to use and carry for travel in a backpack. It is fairly light and does fold up small while still being able to hold up a full-size camera and heavy lens.

I use this tripod for a fixed mount streaming camera during church services. It is very well built and provides a stable platform. I like that it collapses and folds down into a very compact size. Once the camera is positioned it locks down nice and solid. No worries about it drifting. I've used it with a Mevo Start, a DSLR, and a Camcorder all without any issue. The leg extension locks hold fast and have not had any issue with slipping. I will stick with this model again if I ever need another one.

Good tripod, but I broke it

First, I use my gear a lot. This year alone I have broken 5 tripods (of varying sizes). This tripod started off great, but after some exposure to the elements it slowly began to break a part at a time. A leg would come all the way out, the head kept falling off, the head would not stay stationary, the foot pad lost, and it just kept going. The thing is, this maybe the easiest tripod I’ve ever had to “fix” on the fly out in the middle of no where. I put fix in quotes because it was repaired with the tools at hand. I’ve used it for 2.5 years and now need to have a new every day tripod. I would recommend this tripod on price point, lite weight, and how easy it is to repair on the fly.
