Customer Ratings & Reviews

Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2 are two of the best games Nintendo has ever created, and having them together is pure magic. Both titles deliver a level of creativity, polish, and fun that few games ever reach. From the moment you jump into the first galaxy, the game feels alive. The gravity-bending mechanics, the vibrant colors, and the orchestral soundtrack make every single level feel like a new adventure. Mario Galaxy 1 gives you that sweeping, emotional journey, while Galaxy 2 takes everything great from the first game and somehow makes it even better with tighter controls, new power-ups, and more challenging worlds. Both games still look amazing even today, and they run perfectly smooth. Whether you're replaying them or experiencing them for the first time, these games remind you why Nintendo is unmatched when it comes to platformers. If you love Mario, Nintendo, or just great gaming in general, this is a must-own. Easily one of the best purchases you can make on the Nintendo platform. Highly recommended!

Mario Galaxy and Mario Galaxy 2 will stand the test of time as games. The HD makeover looks great, and the Switch additions (touchscreen on gamepad) are intuitive enough. They will at the same time never be as good as they were close to twenty years ago, however. The big issue these games have that is new to this version, is the Switch Joy-cons simply are not as accurate of motion-trackers/cursors as the Wii-mote was. It's and obvious flaw to anyone who play the original versions of these games that that lack of motion sensitivity means the games lose a bit of charm inherent to their design. Instead, the games rely on a "re-center" button you will constantly hit to realign your cursor and a single button as an alternative to the shake to spin move to improve accuracy. My other issue is the lack of game manual/art or any additions to the physical version of this combo pack. Not that any of those are common in modern physical releases, but for the reputation these two games I'd figure Nintendo would feature some neat treat. Still the two games bundled together make a pack almost worth full price to anybody. On sale, probably worth it.

Kids love to play this game. Easy play, love they can do on the go with the Switch device.

Since they announced the release of Mario Galaxy 1 & 2 for the switch I was so excited to get my hands on the games I always loved as a child! It was super fun like I remembered and ran great on my switch 2. Some parts of Mario Galaxy 2 I didn’t remember too much until I played it again so it felt like a fresh new title for me. 100% the game was pretty fun as well and they made sure players used the movement a lot more and made it challenging so it kept me engaged! All time game.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 is possibly the best Mario game I've ever played. This edition has 1 and 2 and we haven't even played the first one yet. Highly recommend!!!

Thank you Nintendo for bringing both Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2 onto the Switch and Switch 2! Highly recommend these games to anyone new to Nintendo.

This game was really fun! It was easy to play and the graphics were great on it! We loved the new storytelling feature! This game has quickly turned into one of our favorites to play!

I 100%’ed the first game. It rocks. Lots of quiet sadness. The second game is great too.

Super Mario galaxy is one of the most creative Mario games to ever release and having both of them in one collection is peak. Music and gameplay haven't aged a day. The motion controls can be a little weird in handheld, it's crazy we used to play games like that.

My inner child is healed with this game. I never got to play Galaxy 2, but I grew up with the first one. It’s just as fun as it was when I was a kid. The graphics are great and the controls are very similar to the original Wii version. It’s perfect.

Classic Mario games that look beautiful in 4k (on switch 2). It also looks and runs great on switch 1. If you or your kid likes Mario, this is one of the best games for the switch.

I ordered the game through the app, and the pickup process was incredibly easy and seamless. The game itself is fantastic! I never had the chance to play it when it first released, so experiencing it in 4K HDR 60 FPS is a nice.

A beautiful remaster of the two classic Wii titles. I played these back when they came out and loved them, and they’re somehow even better than I remember. Mario is and will always be the king of gaming!

Re-release of the best games of all time! If you’ve never gave the Super Mario Galaxy games a chance, I would try them out now! Thanks Best Buy for an easy, smooth pre-order and pick-up!

Never played on a Wii or ever at all, but I was rushed buying it when i heard about it. Super fun and the graphics are great! I love it! I would recommend about it and Best Buy is awesome.

Mario galaxy is such a great game even though the graphics might not be so good for the switch two the game is a really good classic and has the Wii ui that gives it a nostalgic feel to it

Never played the galaxy games before. Almost finished the first one and it’s incredible. Cant believe I waited this long.

Just a great platforming experience. I only played the orginal Mario galaxy a couple of time’s and man, do I regret it! Just a must have in your switch game collection

I will buy this game over and over. I can’t believe how great if feels to play a Wii classic. Both games for the price of one!

It's a good Mario game you can play in long or short sessions. Good graphics, controls, and charm. Lots of creative challenges. Some bogus text clicking at times and $70 is not fun to pay for a game but at least it's a double game.
