Huge improvement over the first game and as someone who is more focused on making levels than playing them, it feels really good to be able to have new tools to work with to expand my ideas! Highly recommend this game!

I purchased Super Mario Maker 2 as a Christmas Present along with a Nintendo Switch. It was on my teens Christmas List. I am pretty sure he will enjoy this game.

My kids are very happy with this game, they can create its own city in the game .

I am not too much about creating levels, but I love the platforming Mario games, and some of the levels created are fun and insanely hard. Great game for people who love impossible to pass platformers

Great game for those young and old who feel nestolgic and love building.

I personally don't like building levels but the actual game that comes with it is pretty fun. In addition the online mode has tons of levels you can download and play through from tons of other Nintendo fans.

My son drives me nuts with this game. He is constantly humming, or singing the themed songs. Nonetheless, this game keeps him busy, is not that difficult to play, and keeps him out of general trouble.

This game is incredible. It's pretty much an endless game of Mario levels under many different skins from SM1 - 3 and World and more. There are many great user created levels after beating the main campaign.

13, 12, and 9 years old played, this is their rating. They like the new content, but do not like the control requirement (could not play in the cradle). I have not looked to see what the issue is yet, but they have not had any issues with previous games, so either it isn't supported, or it is not user friendly to set up.

This game has brung back old memories and a new found love for the series

Bought this for my nephews so they can have something to do when theu come over.

Super Mario Maker 2 is a fun game and brings me back to my days on SNES. However, the story mode is a little lacking on challenge and length. The maker portion is interesting but unfortunately, I'm not someone of the minecraft era that enjoys spending hours making things. Online levels are mostly incredibly difficult or flashy puzzles. There are few levels that are more like classic mario bros.

This game is great,story mode is very good and if you have an online nintendo subscription you could keep playing new levels created by people from around the world,and you could also download them and keep them.

My 8 year old really enjoys this game and if your a Mario fan try this game out

My kids are going to love this game! Happy to get it at a good price! I usually buy things at another store, but Best Buy seems to have some great deals. Only place I found it on sale.

My son is 9 and has built some fantastic new maps with this game that others have thoroughly enjoyed playing. He has a great imagination and enjoys designing things and this game has fostered those aspirations.

Even if you don't have a creative eye when it comes to level-making, there are more than enough levels made by others that'll have you coming back. My only gripes are that... - You can't do Versus locally, only co-op - Not all of the items from each game style is present (Ex: No Flying Squirrel Suit) - Fewer total uploads compared to the first game Otherwise, get on this if you own a Switch.
