Honestly this is an awesome thing, if you can find it. Some of the harder to find games for the SNES like Earth Bound and Super Mario RPG are on here and are well alone worth the price of admission. If you can find one. Would be a 5* if Nintendo didn't create false scarcity ...

I was able to pre order it on Best Buy.com a month ago and just picked it up yesterday. It definantly took me back to growing up and playing on the nintendo back in the 80s/90s. Contra 3, Street Fighter 2 are among some of the games. Hooks up easy with an HDMI cable. At first glance I wasnt sure where to plug in the controllers but a few seconds later I figured out that there is a false cover over the original controller ports. Dropped it down and plugged in the controllers and played for hours. Woryh the $79.99 price.

I went into the store expecting to not buy it since it has been so hard to even find one near me! But one of the cashiers from customer service was so nice that she went to the back to find the last one for me ( this will be my husbands Christmas gift ) I love the fact that it has the newer version of Mario & donkey Kong It brings back memories of when I was younger & I use to play those games with my siblings I cannot wait for Christmas Day to arrive already so he can open it up & we can play it together.

Nintendo did a better job this time around of having more units at launch. 21 games is pretty sparse but at least this time they included 2 controllers. The length of the controller cables continues to be a problem, it's obvious they want you to buy the extenders separately.

This took forever to find! But I lucked out when I simply asked the associate if they had any more of these in stock. I absolutely love it! Even my kids (who are super young) enjoy playing these classics with me! I only wish the controllers were longer in the cord length or at least wireless. So I had to purchase a wireless control. Because of the fact that my kids are in a wireless generation, they don't quite understand the fact that moving around with the wired control can knock down the console.

Awesome console from Nintendo with loads of preloaded games. Nostalgia at it's finest. Love that they included 2 controllers.

All I can say is, Wow! This is a definite must have for any retro game enthusiast. I grew up on the nes and snes so this brings back so many memories of my childhood. I haven’t played every single game on this classic console but I’m so looking forward to playing some of these titles I missed out on as a child such as Secret of Mana and Super Mario RPG. Anyone who grew up playing the snes would love this addition to their gaming library. Get 1 if you can, you definitely won’t be disappointed!

This was an impulse buy as I happened to be in the store when they unveiled a shipment. I never has a SNES as a kid as I used my NES until it died and then stopped playing video games altogether. I think this tiny portable game machine is a great concept. My 8 year old son can take it to Grandma's and plug it in easily. Plus it can be powered by the TV's USB input so no need to dig behind the TV to plug into an electrical socket. Plenty of variety for him and Mario games for me!

I am so happy that I was finally able to buy one I was going to best buy to pick up my call of duty on PS4 and a customer happen to ask about the SNES classic and to my luck they were in stock the day I was there I had to swoop one up as I gave up trying to find one glad I was at the right place at the right time this is a Must have for any person that grew up in the 80's loving video games cannot go wrong this at all bring back great memories a must have to add to your collection

The super Nintendo mini is an awesome product. It's exactly like the NES mini. Seems to be the same operating system as the NES mini but just different games. I love that it came with 2 controllers in the box. The NES mini only came with one controller, which forced me to buy another. Also, all of the controller extension cords from amazon work with both the SNES and NES mini. I wish it came with more games like Chrono trigger but I'm glad that Nintendo released this.

Oh how I love old gaming! The console is very small, but has so many games that come with it! Great for the price!

Coming with two controllers is a smart move compared to the NES classic. It's easy to get in and out of games too.

The SNES Classic is a great buy. With 20+ nastalgic games to play it's a great experience for old school gamers who want to share their childhood experience with their kids. If you're shopping on a budget this is a very affordable console.

Great selection of games. Most of the standard Mario brand games, plus a handful of good RPGs (no Chrono Trigger). Controller cables are too short, but can be remedied with cable extenders. Overall a nice package and everything plays well.

What a blast from the past, i grown up with a snes and brought a lot of memories back. Have the games I love playing, I had my snes with tons of games but I let my cousin borrow it and his gf stole it from him atleast what he told me lol. It comes with two controllers, an hdmi and power cable, no power brick tho. The length of the controller cord its way to short and like the snes it's not great to play in the living room away from the TV unless u buy an extension which is a must

I was easily able to snag one in store. I have to say very painless. The snes classic is a amazing device.
