I was asked to write a .net core wpf app for a tablet and I needed something quick and cheap to prototype with as none of my other devices are 2:1 / touch capable. Here's my thoughts about this.
Price: Wow! Don't think I spent so little since my i-Opener some twenty years ago.
CPU is slugish but works. I don't think I'd use this as my daily driver but for portable computing or single use computing it should work nicely.
Ami BIOS. Lots of options but I found a bug. No matter how many ways I configured the boot options I couldn't get it to boot my Windows Media thumb drive although it did see it.
Windows 10: 1909... x86 S-Mode. I quickly took it out of S-Mode and wanted to install x64 Windows but I couldn't boot the media. With only 2GB it doesn't really matter but some apps are starting to be released as 64bit only. I didn't try to install Windows 11 because it requires 4gb of memory. The BIOS seems to have TPM support so if someone could open this thing up and add some memory it might be possible. All this is probably mute if I can't boot some installation media.
HDMI output and a USB receiver for keyboard/mouse and this could be a decent little travel machine.
Probably the weirdest feature of this thing is the sleave and keyboard. Instead of using the 5 pin connector on the bottom of the tablet it has a usb cable that you tuck in behind the tablet and route out the side to the mini usb port. Also the kick stand doesn't run the whole width of the tablet so it's useless on your lap. The keyboard is an odd layout also with the right shift key missing. Since you can't really easily delete or flip the keyboard back I'm not sure this is really a 2:1.
So I guess that's all I have to say. I installed my app and sure enough rotating the device caused my app to switch orientation and tapping into text controls popped up the virtual keyboard. All in all I'm able to use this for testing my app. Now will we use this for real? Maybe but probably not.
All in all I only reccomend this as a cheap play toy / specific use device.
I would recommend this to a friend

It was good the first two days that I had it but then it suddenly started to considerably slow down. I would get one with a higher storage and ram.
