It was really good movie. I like how they modernized it from the original Superfly from the 70s.

Always was a big fan of the original and wasn't thrill on the remake. Overall it was a good movie.

I,m from the old school and seen and heard many original movies and soundtracks during those early days such as the original Superfly movie created in 1972. The original movie gave a more realistic portrayal of that time era while the current movie is a a more new age superficial flick designed for today's younger generation audience.

After watching this movie I liked the first superfly better but this one is good also

This movie is good from being to the end its full of action and the story line is excellent.

"For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?" Matthew 16:26-27. This 2018 contemporary version is more than just entertainment. There is a message in the story, a moral to the story and a lesson to be learned for the millennials, their parents and grandparents. There is harsh reality in this fictional tale. An ugly truth that has not been given serious consideration - The vulnerability and hopelessness felt by youth living in urban cities across America. We've got to find a way to turn a generation of youth to Jesus Christ for hope and salvation or we will lose them. God is mentioned several times at the beginning of the movie, but it is clear that the characters have a faulty or partial understanding of who He is and our relationship with Him. As you watch this film for the first time or second time, ask yourself this - Is Hollywood trying to tell us something?

This movie played on all of the useless stereotypes and demeanor of young black men in dark environments. The use of offensive labels was overly dramatic but not lending any value to the art of performing. I found that it did nothing to merge contemporary life with that of the times of the original Superfly movie.

It was a decent movie. Not as good as the original, but it was a good reboot.

The movie outlines the real problem with socioeconomic issues in the minority communities.

It’s a great movie that was recommended to me. Best Buy was the only place that had it.
