Not as good as previous seasons but still very enjoyable!

Good show filled with lots of excitement and adventure

In season 4, the writers haven't really broken any new ground with this series. It's still enjoyable, but it's starting to get stale. I'm hoping they put some life back into it for season 5. The characters are strong, but the writing needs to step it up.

Though it is hard for me to catch every episode as I delve deeper into the end of my graduate degree, I thank god there is still physical media so I can catch up!! Since this series started, I was unsure if it would make it, but to my surprise I actually found myself enjoying it. I'm recommending this to any superhero fan. This season has more adventures, more LGBTQ+ from Alex, and more matures storylines. I look forward to the next two seasons and what is going to happen to Kara/Supergirl, Alex, and her friends next!!

This season of the show is really a continuation of the aliens vs. humans storyline from the prior season. Yes, it is very much incorporating the political climate of today into the story. The main storyline involves a citizen militia group called Children of Liberty, led by a character named Ben Lockwood. It also brings Supergirl's version of Lex Luthor (at least Earth-38's version) played by John Cryer and adapts the Red Daughter storyline from the comics which was teased at the end of last season.

The season itself was a mixed bag. The show delved more into political territory, and that's fine. I enjoy seeing ideas that I agree with and ideas that I disagree with. However, while I appreciate the effort, I don't think this show is well-written enough to pull it off. That said, Melissa Benoist is a treasure as Supergirl and Kara.

Now I do highly recommend this CBS/CW Network Television Series to see/watch and own every single Season on Blu-ray also I love the entire Castmates/Crews on this TV Show. It’s an awesome excellent great super fantastic terrific very cool Series plus it’s a very beautiful for the LGBTQ Community and as well the rest of the Communities always watch it, own it and get it especially for the Crossovers as being part of the Arrowverse!

PQ is excellent with sharp detail and depth. WB has awarded this Blu Ray set with great color saturation that pops off the screen. Sound mix is good and active with room shaking bass. Season 4 is one of the better seasons in the series. If you're a fan of the series go out and buy it you won't be disappointed.

These are all great shows. There are so many superhero shows that I have fallen behind. I am so far behind that I just wait until these blu ray sets drop to $10-$12 range. It is nice that they include the crossovers in the blu ray sets, and they are trying very hard to make the stories more intricate and explosive all at the same time. :-)

Things got really good this season after a boring season 3. I'm actually not happy how Crisis negated some of the strong points of this season in season 5 but that's how it goes in these mega crossovers. Blu Ray makes everything look super sharp. Love the price I got this season, too!
