...getting better

I've always felt that the Supergirl series was more like a comedy, because of some of the bad acting, the terrible fight scenes, and the bad CG, but it seems like over time, its starting to actually get better. The acting is starting to feel more organic, the CG is better than what it was, but the fight scenes still needs a little work. If you know what to look for, you can see the roughness of the fights. Maybe a DEO Agent is fighting a villain, and the villain puts up their fist and draws back to throw a punch, but the Agent ducks too soon, yet the person still throws the punch where the persons head WOULD HAVE BEEN. And if the person forgets to duck, then the villain throws the punch above the persons head, and the camera catches it all. Thats not selling a scene to the audience. Maybe kids will see it and think nothing of it, because they don't know what to look for, but we as adults know better. ...But that being said, the show IS getting better. I just hope they improve the fight scenes, or change the angles they show the fights.

A busy season for Kara

This is the season where Supergirl battles Reign and the Worldkillers. Also on this set: Kara visits Midvale; and reunites with her mom in Argo City; Alex plans her wedding and Mon-el returns. This 4 disc set contains all 23 Season 3 episodes, plus the Arrowverse crossover eps from the other three shows involved for a total of 26 eps. A digital code and episode guide are included. There are 3 featurettes (2 of them are the same ones that are on Flash S4, Arrow S6 and Legends of Tomorrow S3 ), and a gag reel. 15 of the 23 regular seaons eps have deleted scenes. Audio and video quality are excellent. This may be the best season so far. It’s a set worth owning, especially since it was on sale for $9.99.

I'm a 62 year old man an I still like the super heroes I liked as a kid. I bought Supergirl for myself, then my two grandsons kept arguing about episodes they wanted to watch. My solution to keep the peace was to buy them each their own individual copies. So now we have three season 3 Blu-ray copies in the house. I see season 4 is around the corner, here we go again. We are fans of the show and I enjoy the story's and the acting is good. The special effects are believable I know Supergirl can really fly!

Best Season So Far

This is the best season so far. Picture and sound are clear. Many new characters and plots. The best part of this release is that all 4 parts of "Crisis on Earth X" are included. I wish they had done this on the season 2 release ("Invasion"in 3 parts) instead of putting one part only in each release of Arrow, The Flash and Supergirl. This was very annoying to jump back and forth between disc sets. Hope they put all 3 parts of "Elseworlds" on the season 4 release in September.

It was pretty good season of Supergirl with the introduction of Reign, more White Martians, and The Legion including Brainiac 5, and the return on Mon-El. The Crisis on Earth-X crossover event was a really big highlight to the season seeing Melissa Benoist playing dual roles, and the introduction of that Earth's superhero, The Ray. I think the villians were decently strong throughout season 3 and it ended pretty good!!!

I only own Supergirl season 3 on Blu-ray because it was on sale. As far as the series go, I think its all right. Maybe because its produced and airs on CW is why it looks funny and low budget. But I still enjoy it. Also I have a crush on the Supergirl actress Melissa Benoits I believe is her name, is why I bought this on Blu-ray. It also came with the digital copy which is pretty neat.

Great show and one of the best of the DC Arrowverse shows with great characters and excellent special effects. It never ceases to amaze me that the CW does such great special effects on a small network budget. Melissa Benoist is excellent in her role and exudes all the warmth and personality of a true Supergirl.

I think this season of Supergirl is the best one yet. Supergirl goes up against Reign the best villain that has been on the show so far and has to deal with the return of Mon-El from the future with some surprises that follow. I think each season of the show has gotten better and better and this one definitely delivers.

I am a big fan of the DC Universe and love all the CW super hero shows esp. Supergirl. Just started collecting all the seasons and had to have series 3! This season revolves around the team trying to defeat the Worldkillers, specifically Reign, This Blue Ray version just adds to the experience, Thank you Best Buy!!

Supergirl Season 3 has some great individual stories as well as an interesting season arch. Melissa Benoist is perfectly cast as Supergirl and the supporting cast has great chemistry: Mehcad Brooks, Chyler Leigh, Davide Harewood, Jeremy Jordan, and Katie McGrath. Great to watch over and over and to binge watch.

She’s pretty, she’s strong, she’s SUPERGIRL! It may have low quality special effects (not dr who low quality but more like Disney Chanel low quality), but if it’s a tv show that you don’t need a subscription to a special channel to see, then I guess it just is what it is.

There is lots of action and peril for Earth's most powerful superheroine. She meets some very powerful villains and villainess, including the extremely dangerous Reign, who almost kills Kara. Mon-El returns with a new girlfriend. This was a most mature season and every episode was well done.

Supergirl season 3 gives our hero new challenges when she faces off against Reign, a Kryptonian World-Killer bent on destroying earth and reshaping it into a sinister vision. Supergirl will go through great lengths to stop her, with a little help from some friends!

Supergirl season 3 adds a great villain of whom you actually feel bad for given the split personality of that character, balancing single motherhood and a menacing supervillian Odette Anabelle adds to an already stellar cast.

Another great action packed season to Supergirl....my opinion, this is the best superhero franchise on CW. I like the others, but Supergirl is, again, my opinion, better characters, plot...and of course Superman shows up now and again.

Supergirl meets Samantha and her daughter. What Supergirl and Samantha doesn't know is that Samantha has an alter ego called Reign, world killer. It's a tricky battle since no one knows who Reign is, including Samantha herself.

Writers need to forget politically motivated story-lines (like the Linda Carter episode from Season 2), but, other than occasionally bad casting, Supergirl-Kara actress always shines as one of the most adorable actresses on TV.
