    Good but could've been better!

A lot of people consider Superman IV: The Quest for Peace, the worst of the Superman movies. I don't hate it. I like it, just don't love it. Sure some of Superman's abilities are weird and out of place. I rather watch this movie than Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance. I'm sure a lot of Superman fans out there are going to hate me for this. I'm fine with it. That's because one Superman fan hated this movie, it doesn't mean you will hate it. Nuclear Man is an interesting villain, even though he has nothing relating to the comics. It was great to have Lex Luthor to return. If you're a Superman fan, you must own it. If you've seen it but didn't like it, you can bypass it.

    poor ending

Despite its good intentions, this 4th Superman pic (& the last to star Christopher Reeve) is the worst of the series. The Man of Steel decides to rid our world of nukes, which inspires his nemesis Lex Luthor (Gene Hackman again) to create Nuclear Man (Mark Pillow). Reeve & Hackman are as watchable as ever, but there are more holes in the film's plot than there are in swiss cheese & the poor SFX certainly don't help.

    Sub-Par Sequel

Although not nearly as poor as 'Superman III,' 'Superman IV: the Quest For Peace,' does nothing to glorify the franchise. Only die hard fans will enjoy this sub-standard sequel.
