Two Disc collection of the original Superman Movie. Original theatrical version plus a second version that shows most of the film that was deleted to make the two hour theatre requirement. The extended version was originally put together for a two night TV Superman Special. This is a must for Superman fans.

If your favorite Superman film is the 1977 version then this is the set to get! You could get the 4k version but you wouldn't get the 3+ hour version too. It is Mono but it definitely gives you everything since the Special Edition has so many bonus features on top of the longer running time. The video and audio on Superman the Movie is about the best to expect on Blu-ray.

Growing up this was always my favorite superhero movie, and my personal hero. "a friend" as Christopher reeve self described himself. Modern Superman movies are too dark and gritty; this is an all time classic. the 4K is immaculate and an amazing presentation!

I have loved this film since seeing it as an 8-yr. old way back in 1978. The tagline back then was that "You Will Believe A Man Can Fly!" And boy did I ever! Special effects have certainly changed over the years, but I'll always hold a special place in my heart for films like this one that truly made me believe in the impossible. I'm thrilled to add this new 4k remaster of one of my favorite films to my collection!

With the remake in 4K this movie with bright colors and super audio makes this classic film pop on your big screen TV. The start of the super comic character Superman comes alive and the story is still great to watch.

Superman The Movie is one of my all-time favorites. With an amazing score and stellar visuals, this film will always remain a classic. Seeing it on a crystal clear 4K transfer with Dolby Atmos sound, this is the ULTIMATE way to experience this film. If you’re a fan of comic book movies, Superman, or just film in general, this is a MUST OWN set for any movie collector!!

Christopher Reeves as Superman one of the best Comic Book casting of all time. Christopher Reeves Is 99% accurate, he has Superman hope’s and believe’s, but he doesn’t Superman big muscle’s, but he make’s that up with his acting, and that what count’s to me.

I liked the movie Superman The Movie!! I have always liked Superhero movies but this movie was excellent. I liked Christopher Reeve, I liked Margot Kidder, and I liked Ned Beatty. But the one actor I really liked in this movie was Gene Hackman. I loved his Lex Luthor.

This movie on 4K is awesome. SUPERMAN THE MOVIE is part of my childhood and I can't wait to see it on 4K. I hope and wish that the other 3 SUPERMAN MOVIES that also get the love and respect and get put on 4K . Christopher Reeve would love it. I hope it happens

This movie in my opinion paved the way and laid down the blueprint for all superhero films that came after it. The theme song is the best of all time. I dare you to name a better one! The movie looks and sounds really good with the 4K upgrade! R.I.P. to Christopher Reeve and Margot Kidder...forever immortalized in this classic!

If you have a big screen, a large projector screen, and a cool Dolby Atmos surround system then you’re going to love this 4K release. It’s super spectacular and I couldn’t be happier with it. Please oh please hurry up and gives us Superman II on 4K with Dolby Atmos too !

The sound of the titles flying over your head before they hit the screen in front of you during the opening credits lets you know this isn’t going to be like you’ve seen it before.

OK, yeah, so it's a bit cheesy, but it's still one of the best super-hero movies. Christopher Reeve did an incredible job as both Superman and Clark Kent. The color and sound were first rate. There were some weak spots, but that was to be expected given the limitations of special effects in the 70s.

Great 4K movie and there's always something special whenever we watch Christopher Reeve as the legendary Man of Steel. Sure, we love the new versions with DC, but Reeve was extra special and personified Superman on a legendary scale.

She loves it. Great movie. Pretty neat clarity in 4k. Grainy in certain scenes, but it looks natural like right off the original film negatives. Feel like I’m back at the movie theatre in the 80’s just from the visual fidelity. Nostalgic most definitely.

This is a movie that Christopher Reeves made an icon. This movie needs no bosting at all. This is a must own film for any super hero fan

The superman that started it all. Call me slow BUT I didn't notice a difference between this 4K format and blu ray, but I highly recommend. Now just release ALL FOUR of these movies in a 4K bundle and I'll be soaring into the store to pick it up;)

There is only ONE Superman, and his name is Christopher Reeve. While I personally prefer the Richard Donner cut follow-up, this film is a great origin story for the iconic superhero.

Picture: Outstanding Sound: Excellent DTS remastered Movie/Story: The other Superman movies are duds in comparison. Oh, and this Blu-Ray contains the deleted scene of "Fatherly Advice". I'll never know why it was deleted in the first place!

The original big screen Man of Steel. The movies arrived in only a few days and I was very happy about that. Great movie A+++
