I loved it, I gotta get the rest of the series now!

The season was on sale so I figured I'd take a chance. I should of stuck with a show I was familiar. I'm all about fantasy and science fiction but without the freedom of cable the show just falls short.

Another young Van Helsing for the fans liking supernatural such as Grimm as well.

Not terrible for freshman run series. Some good obscure creatures etc.

I've remember first watching Supernatural after being a viewer of Smallville ever since it first started. I decided to watch Supernatural because the guy who in Smallville played Lana's boyfriend in Season 5 of Smallville is playing one of the lead roles in Supernatural. The show at the time being on The WB. Ever since I first saw it I fell in love with this show just like how I had falling in love with Smallville and used to watch Buffy The Vampire Slayer as well as Angel on WB. Supernatural like all these other shows has been able to keep me interested just as much as it's initial spark of interest of all these other shows. If you are a fan of Smallville, or any of the other mentiond WB shows or Charmed I would recommend Supernatural and have a feeling you will not be disappointed. My next goal is to get some family/relatives into Supernatural like I did with Smallville shortly after it first came out even thought I was watching it from the beginning. Supernatural just shows how good tv shows can be with these day and age were good tv shows seem to get canceled. I was sure excited when CW decided to continue on with Supernatural once CW was formed through the merge of the former The WB and UPN networks/channels. I highly recommend getting this DVD Boxset. Also would recommend getting Season 2 DVD Boxset which came out yesterday and also tune into CW Network this fall for Season 3.

Supernatural is an amazing thriller/suspense sci-fi series. It revolves around two brothers as the main characters, Sam and Dean. They are hunters. It's obvious by the title that, that means vampires, ghosts, and etc. Throughout this 1st Season, they are trying to find their father, whom is missing. Along the way, they run into odd cases of supernatural activity. Also, this series begins with a mystery about Sam and Dean's past. There are many plots throughout this series, and lots of twists and turns. The acting is fairly good, especially the witty brotherly comments between Sam and Dean. The effects are pretty amazing for a TV series. It has lots of suspense, and you'll find yourself jumping in your seat at more than a few episodes. The extras are fairly good, especially the gag reel! :) The packaging could be smaller and less bulky, but besides that I highly recommend this series!

Though not one of the most-watched shows on television, Supernatural is thrilling, funny, and enthralling. Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles are perfect as the leads, and they encounter some fascinating situations. Think of it as an X-Files for the new generation -- just replace two hot FBI agents with intense chemistry with two hot young guys and replace aliens with demons, and you have Supernatural, a show that lives up to its earlier counterpart. Give this show a try. You won't be disappointed!

There are only two audio commentaries in this set, I would have liked to have a few more. However, one of them is with Jared and Jensen, the stars of the show, and it was very entertaining listening to them talk about their experiences shooting the episode. There are also lots of deleted scenes, some bloopers, and some other featurettes. The show on its own is a great buy. Good plots, some action, comedy, thrills and chills, and great classic rock songs. If you're interested in urban legends then this is your show. The bonus features are just that, a bonus on an already good cake.

I like this show because its about all the scary things or stories that go around and it gives you an idea what it could be if it was true and that it can be stopped. Plus I think that Jensen Ackles is hot, also liked him in Dark Angel. I started this series after hearing a ton about it from my blogging site. I wasn't exactly sure what I was getting into, and my mom (whom I often watch shows with) didn't seem interested. By the time we reached the Season Finale, Mom, me, and even my cat were watching, riveted. I'm almost done with Season 2 can't wait to get Season 3.

If you are just becoming familiar w/ Supernatural, get ready for a great ride that never lets up! Now with Supernatural, currently, on their 4th season (which grabs you by the honchos from the get go!) you have time to catch up or re-watch past episodes. Elements of horror, witty slapstick and other great elements of comedy make Supernatural pretty well rounded. *If loved being scared, the novelty isn't too cheap with this series! Have fun~!

I am a huge Buffy and am a huge fan of this show. Now that Buffy has been over for years this is my new obession. Some of my friends think the show is scary but I have never thought that. I like to describe it has Buffy in the later years when it got a little darker,although there are some great funny parts, with two guys.

One of the best T.V. Series I just wish you could get all of Supernatural starting ffrom the 1st Season up to the present day which is 2011. I made the right choice when I bought the first Seaon of Supernatural. Best money we ever spend.

I stumbled on supernatural while flipping channels one thursday night, and since then i have been HOOKED. i now schedule my classes so that i am home when its on on thurdays. LOL. it is funny, with egde of your seat action, and sam and dean are smoking hot! its an addiction EVERYONE should have :))

For anyone who's a fan of the horror movie genre this show serves up an hour a week of excellently crafted horror stories. I enjoyed this season of the show more than the second, because the episodes were better able to stand alone. Generally, I enjoy shows with season long arcs and continuing story lines, but what I inititally liked about this show was that while there were threads that continued, you were given a completely new "case" each week. Making the episodes more like mini-movies.

Great show for people who are into sci-fi and the supernatural. Actually a bit more creepy than I was expecting, which is a good thing! Jensen Ackles' performance is a bit wooden, but Jared Padalecki makes up for it!

This is an amazing show. The writing gives new life to the same supernatural plots. The acting is amazing. Both guys are extremely talent and you can see that in there work. i would recommend this show to anyone.

Supernatural is a great show! I didn't watch it from the start but once I started, I was hooked. They do a great job of blending horror, action, comedy into the perfect show! Love it!

I love this show and I've just started watching it recently. Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki make a great team. It's creepy, funny, sad, and full of turns. Can't wait to see the next season.

Funny horror series. One minute your laughing, the next, your heart is pounding from the suspense. Very addictive, can't wait for the next episode to see what evil the brothers will fight.
