Let me begin by saying this is the best pool product you can buy to prevent tons of maintenance. When I first purchased this I just wanted a way to reduce the time I spend kimming the water. It does that extremely well all day and all night. Bugs and debris have a very slight chance to sink to the bottom. And by doing so helps keep your water clean and clear. I live in Chicago and my neighbor asked me in October how the heck I keep my pool so clean and this S2 is the sole reason why. I think it even helps with my Chlorine consumpsion as well. 6 Stars

So far, it's awesome. We have a ton of pine needles that blow in from a neighbors yard and into the pool, Skimmy takes care of them all! I think we've charged him officially once, the rest of the time he runs on solar and luck. You do need to use the noodle in the pools built-in skimmer, as Skimmy doesn't have a TON of power to jet away from the suction, but with the noodle in, he just zips by it on his normal rounds.

Using now for 2 weeks, its is not cheap I know but this little guy really helps keep the leaves off the bottom of the pool. We have been able to turn off skimmer and now working the water level drops and pump is sucking air and no debris be getting into the pump.

Love the Aiper Surfer S2. Just put it in and away it goes. I charged it the 1st time and have not since, used well over 10 times. With the solar panel it charges itself. Would highlight recommend it.

I call this my Timex skimmer. Takes a likin and keeps on tickin! Best battery life for a skimmer under $1,000.

This thing is awesome. It’s incredible how much grass and debris this collects. The solar charging is awesome. Everyday it’s at 90%.

Great for little insects like No-see-ums, or any other that end up in the water, as well as any leaves. Big basket so you won’t have to be cleaning it frequently.

100% a great buy. I charged it once and it ran all summer long. Saved me so much time cleaning the pool.

My friend has one if these in his pool all summer long. It was amazing watching it pick up all the debris floating in the water. So I had to buy one! Can’t wait to set it up when I open my pool.

Design looks good until you put it in the pool. Within an hour the plastic cover is seriously beat up from scraping against the pool wall. Very weak blade rotation. Not worth the high cost.

Great option if you don’t want to spend your life netting leaves out of your pool.

Best skimmer ever leaves nothing behind . I love it

I truly regret purchasing this expensive pool skimmer. Right out of the box, it was nothing but problems. It took over 8 hours to fully charge, and only after doing a firmware update did the LEDs finally indicate that it was charged. After setting up the cleaning schedule and placing it in the pool, I started the cleaning cycle – but it was a disaster. The propellers would only spin for about 15 seconds, then stop for 30 seconds, before trying again. This repeated cycle eventually stopped altogether, leaving me with a non-functional skimmer. I tried to restart the setup sequence three times, hoping it was a one-off issue, but it never worked. Honestly, it was faster and less frustrating to skim the pool manually rather than deal with this unreliable product. Buyer beware – don’t waste your time or money on this.

This pool skimmer is very poorly made. The first one i purchased lasted two weeks. Returned it and the second one failed within two weeks.

Bought this because have a large tree in the backyard that drops a lot of leaves into the pool. This skimmer picks them all up. It is also solar powered so I can leave it in the pool all day. So far so good!
