Let me start by saying this is required tech for every pool owner. We have 2 large trees in our neighbors yard. The Surfer S2 keeps a happy community, because no side at the neighbor when i go out to clean the pool. It is spring and the tree buds did shed and there were husk all over the yard...but not in the pool! At least not that I could see. Roger (our Surfer S2) worked NIGHT and day to give my "bottom feeder* robot and skimmer little work to do. We have the Surfer S1 and the S2 knocks it out of the park with a battery/solar combo that improves to provide 24x7 cleaning. I have charged it 1 time in now 3 weeks of cleaning! Only problem i have had is a stuck anti stranding bar in a first run unit. Still doesn’t stop the AWESOMENESS.

I love this pool skimmer. Keeps my pool clean, runs 24 hours. Charges while cleaning, picks up everything. Nothing falls back in pool. Picks up the tiniest bugs.

Press the power button once and let it swim all day and night. We've not had to charge it one time over the course of two months. Like others have stated, it'll work straight out of the box and continuously charge via solar. We only take it out of the pool whenever we need to swim or if it needs to be cleaned. The detachable container was super easy to take out and hose down. I highly recommend this product for any pool owner out there.

So far, it's awesome. We have a ton of pine needles that blow in from a neighbors yard and into the pool, Skimmy takes care of them all! I think we've charged him officially once, the rest of the time he runs on solar and luck. You do need to use the noodle in the pools built-in skimmer, as Skimmy doesn't have a TON of power to jet away from the suction, but with the noodle in, he just zips by it on his normal rounds.

Keeps the pool extremely clean of floaters and has a nice smart setting to only run when needed.

Using now for 2 weeks, its is not cheap I know but this little guy really helps keep the leaves off the bottom of the pool. We have been able to turn off skimmer and now working the water level drops and pump is sucking air and no debris be getting into the pump.

Love the Aiper Surfer S2. Just put it in and away it goes. I charged it the 1st time and have not since, used well over 10 times. With the solar panel it charges itself. Would highlight recommend it.

Purchased this for my 80 year old Dad. He still calls me every time he cleans it out to brag about how amazing it is!

I call this my Timex skimmer. Takes a likin and keeps on tickin! Best battery life for a skimmer under $1,000.

Great for little insects like No-see-ums, or any other that end up in the water, as well as any leaves. Big basket so you won’t have to be cleaning it frequently.

My friend has one if these in his pool all summer long. It was amazing watching it pick up all the debris floating in the water. So I had to buy one! Can’t wait to set it up when I open my pool.

Design looks good until you put it in the pool. Within an hour the plastic cover is seriously beat up from scraping against the pool wall. Very weak blade rotation. Not worth the high cost.

Great option if you don’t want to spend your life netting leaves out of your pool.

Best skimmer ever leaves nothing behind . I love it

I truly regret purchasing this expensive pool skimmer. Right out of the box, it was nothing but problems. It took over 8 hours to fully charge, and only after doing a firmware update did the LEDs finally indicate that it was charged. After setting up the cleaning schedule and placing it in the pool, I started the cleaning cycle – but it was a disaster. The propellers would only spin for about 15 seconds, then stop for 30 seconds, before trying again. This repeated cycle eventually stopped altogether, leaving me with a non-functional skimmer. I tried to restart the setup sequence three times, hoping it was a one-off issue, but it never worked. Honestly, it was faster and less frustrating to skim the pool manually rather than deal with this unreliable product. Buyer beware – don’t waste your time or money on this.

This pool skimmer is very poorly made. The first one i purchased lasted two weeks. Returned it and the second one failed within two weeks.
